Idk about other guys, but for me, the reason why I initially didn't want a pet is because of the responsibilities that follow, but if i were in PapaRissa's shoes at that point, it'd just be a hassle to get rid of it and deal with the resulting repercussions, it'd be easier to just accept it, plus cats are a lot more chill than dogs anyway, and they come to you if they're in need of affection, so no need to get off the couch. The ONLY issue I have is my Mom being jealous that our cat likes being with me more than anyone else
