as Vtubers become more mainstream i think a lot of them are just going to have to accept that the people around them are going to find out one way or another. i could see a future where the anonymous part of Vtubers isn’t really a thing anymore and is used as a part of peoples resumes when trying to get jobs in other artistic fields. heck Kizuna Ai’s identity is know and people like Kson regularly stream in and outside of their Vtuber model and i think that’s pretty cool. it also doesn’t help that the youtube algorithm regularly dox’s Vtubers for me by recommending their fleshtuber channels 😅

She probably does know Kanata-chan, I only watch a few hololive members live, and a few others if they have a nice voice but I can't understand them. But I pretty much watch clips of all Hololive members, and generally in clips there is almost always another person too (hololive or not.) So what I'm getting at is, even if she doesn't watch Kanata's channel she probably found out about her through the grapevine. (Hopefully if she does find out she'll be cool about it and try not to be weird with Kanata afterwards.) ^_^
