Hahah how's that rain! This made me so keen for the weekend. I'm always guilty of doing big twitches when chasing jew and this gave me a bit of a better idea how to fish the crab.

A great video fellas and some nice fish in challenging conditions. Two questions - do you use scent on your lures, and with your sounder in what I recall as fairly shallow water, is your focus on sidescan or sonar?

Thanks mate! For certain species we definitely use scent, I used Sax Scent when we were fishing for the Bream, I also used some when we fished a bit slower for flathead. Focus is all on side scan, we fish from 3/6m of water normally

Been fishing the Noosaville canal locks with the swim minnow in mullet, quite a lot of fresh in the system so not much action at the moment. However! I got a hit so hard yesterday arvo that it bent the 1 1/8 bkk jighead which was a first for me…didn’t get to find out what it was but the minnow survived 😮. PS: I spy Steve wearing holt wet weather gear? Is that something coming soon for us??? 😊

Restock is this Friday March 15th 6pm AEST or QLD time, we always restock every 5/7 weeks and always have the restock date set at the top of the website 4 weeks beforehand and on all of our social media platforms, we manufacture our soft plastics here in Australia so we can make them in smaller batches and can keep restock dates regular, sorry for the inconvenience but I guarantee if you jump on Friday night you’ll be able to grab any of the colour range we are restocking 👌

Both very different rods, infeets are ultra light and I like that for few styles of my fishing, Grub freak is more of a all-round plastics rod

Yea I had one but broke two guides off (my fault) it was a great rod, good for a 3000 size reel throwing bigger lures

Hayguy good fishing. Just a thortwhen you put up pic of what lures you using you need to make it bigger cors we carnt actually see it .if you weren't saying it we wouldn't know. Just saying. And buy the way love the Holt baits .
