Thanks for the update Holt! I know he may be hard to get because he's a very busy guy, but I'd love to hear another interview with Zeke/Lookout. The amount of personnel on Shelly was corrected to 3,935. I follow Watch Duty but wondering why they show 15,232 acres for Shelly Fire vs. 11,234 reported by CalFire and both are currently updated? I follow the Weather app but would like to know the weather app you recommend. We have a tree service business so weather is important to us. Thanks so much Holt!

My favorite weather sources are Pivotalweather.com and Windy.com, but usually, your local meteorologist on the news will have the best understanding of the microclimates in your area.

It goes up when Scott Valley heats up but last year it was a midnight light show against Boulder Peak backdrop. Next morning Shadow Lake area and Red Rock Creek Valley were on fire and the big one over by Hwy 96 was starting up in the distance

Thanks for a great report! We had T-storms with rain! Glad for the watering, thunder a lot. Temps came down also. We are in the Sierra Valley just northwest of Reno in California. Sending prayers to Etna and the Scott Valley!

Why did caltopo take the Shelly perimeter off the map?

They are letting it burn for overtime and greed. They could have put it out a 500 acres. Sad

They are definitely incentivised to keep it going at taxpayer and local citizens' expense.
