It is better to have one parent than none. I’m not adopted, but I live with my single mom. I wouldn’t have it any other way. How much more difficult is it to be "approved" or matched as a single mom vs a married couple? I am in a similar position as Liz, but have been telling myself that unless I get married, I'll never be "eligible" to adopt. This story gives me hope, but I also want to remain realistic.

It should not be just adopt a child to be mistreated unfairly but must have a love that comes from the heart 100% for an adopted child as your own. If you cannot truly love a child then don't dare to adopt. Heard about an adoptive white parent who can't love a child of 3 yrs old Asian girl as their own so it's best they should not adopt a child but they should give birth to their own than hurting an adopted child from another alien country. Hope there shouldn't be any racists against Asian in the future.
@mypapalovesme2847 жыл бұрын
Romans 12 9 Don’t just pretend to love others. Really love them. Hate what is wrong. Hold tightly to what is good. 10 Love each other with genuine affection, and take delight in honoring each other.
@mypapalovesme2847 жыл бұрын
Remember to do background check on adoptive parent before give in for adoption. It shouldn't be too easily to adopt a child. A child is not an animal to be mistreated. Children are human beings. Train them well and they will soon learn to love you back in the end. It takes patient to care for a child until they can take care of themselves. That is.
@actuallyxanna7747 жыл бұрын
Wendi Lyfe Adopting a child is the furthest thing from easy.. They don't treat them like animals and they do background checks.. Hence the reason they have home studies and so many requirements in order to adopt.. So I don't think they just pawned this baby off like it was nothing.. China is very strict about their rules so I think they know what they are doing in terms of this

Hi Lucie, there are lots of reasons that people adopt from China. There are thousands of children who are waiting for families, and the Chinese government has developed a good process for adoption, making it a relatively stable and quick process. Actually Jasmine, the moment that a child meets their new adoptive parents is often traumatic. We believe that in the long run, adoption is in the best interest for these children, but in the moment they are being taken from everything that they are used to, which can be very scary. Our best adoptive parents are sensitive and understanding of the reality of what the child is about to go through, and are willing to meet them where they are. With time though, bonding and connection begins to happen!

Jasmine…adoption is not easy! This kid was two so she had attachments, language, local culture and habits and all that was ending. This mother is smart.
