Fair market value for a cgc 2.5 is 5100 as of July 23, so you did good even if it is a cbcs , it's not like your looking to sell it. It's for your PC, so yea you still got it at a good deal. Because after taxes 5100 turns into 5600

And after checking the graders notes and looking at the book more closely, it's got so many non-color breaking creases going up and down the back and front of the spine that I am absolutely going to get this pressed and dry cleaned and regraded... this could possibly bump it up as high as a 4.5. That would be amazing. But even if it came back a 3.0 I'd still be excited.

@@silveragesurfer_COMICS yeah man I am ecstatic about this book. And if it wasn't for the help of my wife and my mother I would have missed out on this opportunity. And the best part is I've been looking at it and checked out the graders notes from the QR code and I think this book with a pressing and dry cleaning could actually go up between a 3.5 to a 4.5. There is on the back a lot of creases that don't break color that go all the way up and down the spine. And a concave spine that could be pressed out as well. That I could bump this up a few grades.

I agree, and in fact, I am going to send it to get regraded as it has tons of minor creases up and down the spine that do not break color... I think this comic could get as high as a 4.5. But I would be happy with a 3.0 :) :) :) . Thank you for the kind words and support.

On the last video you said you paid about 300 in taxes, I thought either the tos39 or Jim83 would be the most likely choice. I looked up sold books for 4-5k, found the 2.5 cbcs Jim83 that sold in the timeframe. Figured it had to be it. Gpa has 3 sales of Jim83 2.5 cgc, $4938, $4320 and $5100. Cbcs generally sells for less than cgc. I think you paid around what it's worth
