Loved seeing the Holy Grail of costume jewelry. My favorites were the DeRosa pieces and that last Taxco silver necklace. Years ago, I was at a local flea market where one of the vendors had a really beautiful Mexican silver necklace with stylized birds on it, probably the single most beautiful piece of Mexican silver jewelry I've ever laid eyes on. Your bird necklace is probably second :) BTW, I heard from another KZbinr that Swarovski is no longer providing stones to 3rd party jewelry manufacturers. Maybe you could do a video on Swarovski crystal jewelry :)

Oh my, the Joseff brooch is exquisite! I love how much you love your Beatles bracelet. At the height of my collecting when I probably had over 3,000 pieces, one of my favorites was an inexpensive, unsigned brooch. But to me, it was a little piece of art. It was a japanned tree with blowing branches, with orange crystals dangling from the ends of the branches. Highly dimensional. Definitely not the quality of your Joseff, but I loved the design.

I have an awesome Joseph of Hollywood necklace. The chain was a rusted awful mess. And the celluloid teeth were discolored from the chain. I couldn’t save the chain. I saved the teeth and rehung them on a new chain and I love the necklace. It is so awesome!

Hi I love your channel! I am a new follower! How do you know if a piece is from a rare collection I.e the Christian Dior necklace? Is there a place to find that info? I have massive amounts of jewelry from my late grandmother and then from my own obsession with jewelry. Also do you have a video on identifying items like pools of light.. i think I have this but can’t tell if mine is truly authentic.. not sure if it’s something that is copied bc of the value.. Bakelite is another one I struggle with.. I’ve heard of the bakelite tests and have done some.. but I’d like to get better at identifying them quickly.. I have heard of the marbling identification method and the “clink” sound method but I still always second guess myself! and then identifying valuable semi precious stones and beads on a piece. Are the stones at a store like Michael’s Craft store that say “genuine semi precious stone beads” (even if the strand is a few dollars) the same types of stones being used in valuable pieces? Or is one much more valuable and is there a way to identify it? I know knots in between pearls helps show value in a high end Pearl necklace or bracelet (I am sure that’s not always the case and there’s ways to identify that each Pearl is of very similar size etc ..) idk it’s all so confusing to really be able to say this is valuable and this is not. Everything I’ve read is much harder to understand than seeing someone show it and explain it.. that’s what makes your channel so valuable to me!! Thanks for sharing? And if you’re able to thanks in advance for helping with my questions above!

I love vintage jewelry 😍! I have a double head horse/stallion bracelet that has no markings but the bracelet part is sterling silver and the two horse heads are either 18kt or 20kt gold with ruby red eyes in both horses the clasps are gold with gold screws. I have seen only one other one online and the person who had that one was begging people to help her identify it. It came in a red box with swiss made on the inside of the box. No jeweler or anything. 3 jewelry stores could only tell me the stones and the metals. If you dont mind me asking have you ever seen anything like i have described?.. Eta..i just saw your patreon. If i join how exactly would i be able to do the jewelry identification..i dont have a Facebook...
