been thinking this over, and yeah, its madness that the class based on outcompeting magic through martial prowess cannot pull out an Anti-Magic Glock and honor the Founding Fathers.

Great intro to cWB. I love this spec and main it for raids and group content. Really solid and easy to pump condi dps!

As an OW-obsessed player when on WB, I'll try some Willbender Conceited Curate. I do use Ritualist Armor instead, as I also have a Firebrand the set was originally built for, but also have an... obsession with "all boons" WB (swapping to Battle Presence and Feel my Wrath for random group OW events to hand out boons while still being WB).

playing willbender in open world definitely makes you feel a bit spoiled with the amount of boons you get. whenever I swap to a class without huge boon generation it all just feels so weird

@@Evan4K I want to reply and thank you again. Conceited Curate + Ritualist = face-tank Willbender. Can even give out boons through Phoenix Protocol + Battle Presence and limited Feel My Wrath while in random groups. No dying (30k hp + 2 sustain sources) damage is kept decent thanks to condi build.

Even with max jade bot my hp is 14,900, BUT other than that Willbender is so much fun. I'm having a blast.

true, low hp can seem a bit scary. although with all the self healing sources you should be ok

I'm fairly new to the game and I saw a couple of builds using off-hand weapons only on 2nd slot. My question is aren't you missing out some bonus stats coming from a main weapon? How does this work?

When you have the off hand only on the second set it will use the main hand weapon from the first set by default. So you don't miss out on stats since it will use whatever is on the first weapon set.

How does Rune of Balthazar compare to Trapper on Willbender?

personally I prefer trapper. balthazar runes on this build will end up getting you way over capped on burn duration you would have to swap around sigils and or stats to get a better stat spread without being over capped. also the general condi duration from trapper will also apply to the bleeding that the pistols are applying

what Evan above said is correct, however Balthazar runes can give you higher dps than trapper, however this is primarily because since you are now capped on burning duration you can switch some of your vipers gear to sinister and considering burning is over 75% of the damage this will give you higher numbers since sinister is vipers without expertise but the 3 other stats are now higher, but this only really matters if you enjoy min maxing and if you want to play other condi builds with the same gear trapper+full vipers will be better

armor on the thumbnail is the new polychromatic armor with the astral ward legs. but the character in the video is wearing a combination of decades armor, etherbound, houndskin shoulders
