He already knows the inner workings of Francis's pontificate. Even though a high ranking cleric and an expert theologian, he knows how to walk the tight rope. So he looses his apartment and salary if in fact that is true, he has so many friends and connections though out the world. We love him, pray for him and support him. I know I do.

I believe it is celebrated as a Solemnity when it is the patron. There was a creed at this mass too which is a sign of solemnity over feast.
