My story begins like this, I see the Lord's hand from the time of my conception in my life, My Mom wanted to abort me, I was saved due to the efforts of a Doctor who is a Catholic Nun, All my chilhood memories are flooded with how I searched for God, I was very much involved in all religious activities but I still did not have the real peace in his heart. I often wondered, “After all these religious ceremonies which I am performing every day, am I in right relationship with God? Is he drawing closer to me? My earliest encounter with Christ was big image of the Sacred Heart, I always felt called by Him, During classes and even at break I used to look at Him, the day His eyes met mine, He never left me, I still was a stauch Hindu, I wanted to overcome my karma by performing devotional rituals, but fear of death and reincarnation had overcome me, the words of Christ to Martha has set me free " I am the Ressurection", I followed Jesus right from I was 11, I was hated by my family and relatives for my faith in Him, but the Lord was gracious enough to take me into His fold when I was 16, I was baptized along with my Mom and maternal Grandmother into the Church. Jesus my Savior, my King my all in all changed my life, there is no meaning to life without Him.

Anthiochean Liturgy is the world best Liturgy . New generation has slightly changed .No further dilution in tune tone and music participation of the believers are more important than KEY BOARD and other things .In Antioch en liturgy in India we are using the same traditional songs and tune and tone The MARRIAGE LITURGY IS EXTREMELY GOOD

West Syriac Rite liturgy is used in Jacobite Orthodox Church, Malankara Orthodox Syrian Church, Marthoma Church, and Malankara Catholic church. All these 4 churches pretty much have at its core the same Qurbana. The Syro Malabar Catholic Church on the other hand has the East Syriac Liturgy also known as Persian liturgy. This Persian liturgy in its original context is used by the Chaldean Syrian church of Thrissur. And the Roman/Latin Church has the Latin liturgy of Rome.

Cijoy K Jose : Going around the thronos is done twice or thrice only in our churches. Of course, velivu niranjor is sung but, choir chooses some other stanza in each day.

This is malankara catholic church.. In india, there are 3 type of catholic church.. 1)Latin catholic church 2)syro malabar church 3)malankara syrian catholic church Each of these church have different type of mass.. but the structure of mass is same..These churches have its own head person..but Pope is the superior power of these churches.. If we consider the catholic church in india as tree, Then these three churches are the branches.. We are different in type.. but single in spiritual.... 🙏🙏🙏🙏

The Catholic Church has 22 rites and they are fully in communion with Pope who is the pope for entire catholic church .Western countries most of them are following Latin liturgy Now they have been translated in local languages . This ANTHYOKEAN SURIYANI USED BY Jacobite church,, Malankara Orthodox Church and SYRO MALANKARA CATHOLIC CHURCH HEADED BY CARDINAL AND CATHOLIC BABA ISAC MAR BASELIOS CLIMMIS TRIVANDRUM) LITURGY IS THE SAME FOR ALL THE THREE.JACOBITES ARE UNDER ANTIOCHEA PATRARCH. The Vegan middle eastern : A century ago everything was in Syriac. A Malayali from the Hindu community translated the prayers into Malayalam. the rest is history...

@@johnmathew8053 it shouldn't be fully in syriac, the worshippers must understand what they're praying but also they must not translate the whole mass, there should be some in syriac like for example the trisagion, in the maronite church it is about 60% arabic and 40% syriac.

@Juan I don't mind the Syro-Malabar rite but to see a Syro-Malabar mass in ad-orientem version is quite rare nowadays. Syro-Malankara keeping their rite mostly untouched has provided a framework for us to look forward to when we have to return the traditions of our Malabar rite. There's lots of good to give and borrow from them. Because we are all Catholic.
