Restraint from evil is a work. Choosing not to do something IS doing something. 🙃 Id argue contending against your concupiscense is one of the most difficult and charitable things to do in this modern world. And scripture says "guard your heart for from it spring forth the issues of life" to not protect yourself from such things would be cooperation with evil. I understand the sentiment of this homily but I wonder on its prudence 🤔 some sheep have no sense after all and might not be shrewd enough to discern the snakes before them to guard against. 🤷🏼‍♀️ ..but then again what do I know 😂
