Everything you wrote is spot-on. Any new believer, or any curious or seeking individual can get caught up in one of these churches for a period of time. They're new to the faith and don't know any better. But if you don't read your bible and continue to stay in these kinds of churches for a long period of time then you're not a victim. Most often it's a sign that a peson is already under God's judgement and He has turned them over to their depravity and their selfish desires.

It is great that you teach God’s people how to activate spiritual discernment. Over time this gift from our Father God will become stronger the more it is being used. It’s the same theory that the more a person is planting seeds of evil and wickedness, those seeds will grow and develop into stronger and tougher roots. Many people have experience with church abuse, including myself. Church hurt is real. Evil and wickedness are on the rise. I have always believed that all of God’s houses of worship represent the fruit of God’s spirit. But this is not always true. We, God's people, must remember that just because a person is working in the religious industry does not mean that they are working for the benefit of our Father God in Heaven. They could be working for the benefit of the Gospel according to Marxism or any other anti-God Gospel. Or they could be working for self benefits. This religious practice of paying money to the church is very common. Yes, God’s people will need to take care of the bills, expenses, upkeep, and maintenance of God’s house of worship. However, the scripture taught God’s people in 2 Corinthians 9:7 Each one must give as he has decided in his heart, not reluctantly or under pressure, for God loves a cheerful giver. We are not to be tricked, pressured, manipulated, misled, or flimflammed into turning over our hard-earned cash at the request of a religious leader. We should not blindly trust that this collection of cash is going to help people involved in the California fires. The scriptures teach God's people that a religious leader who is in charge of God’s House of Worship, based on 1 Timothy 3:1-7, should manage his household well. If someone does not know how to manage his household, how will he care for God's church? This should be concerning due to the heartbreaking fact that a precious young boy who's mother states that her son has autism has not had the pleasure of having a healthy relationship with his father, Mr. Bryant. But we have to also be aware, based on the scriptures, that all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. And woe to those who call evil good and good evil, who put darkness for light and light for darkness, who put bitter for sweet and sweet for bitter! #churchhurt #churchhurtisreal
