Truth is - He never let go. Repent (change your mind and walk away from it - turn away and go the other direction) and He will meet you where you are. Your life is important and we need you - He will turn your mess into your message. Nothing that has happened has taken Him by surprise, and nothing that happens tomorrow will take Him by surprise either. Turn back to Him and it will all be ok. Peace.
