Watched The God Man last week. Great film. Father of Lights and Holy Ghost are still my favorites

You mentioned the older African American women being a catalyst. It brought back a memory of a black family I knew in a major midwestern city. She was the family matriarch/ patriarch. She had about eight children, twenty or so grandchildren, and maybe 35 great grandchildren. She used to sit in that chair most of the time. But God help any of her kids, grandkids, or great grandchildren if she ever got up, which she did if any of them did something wrong. She would “discipline” any of them with an old leather belt. They would all address her as “Yes ma’am,” and straighten up quickly so as to avoid the belt in her right hand.

What came to mind when he was talking about putting this latest film together from the ""cutting floor" was when Jesus fed the crowd with loaves and fishes and yhere was 12 baskets left over. There was the initial films but God saved the cuttings(left overs) because He uses everything to be a blessing.

thank you for this interview. I loved hearing Darren's walk with God. More precisely how he learned to hear God and be directed by him. It was a very personal and honest reflection. It was God's way to answer my prayers for my walk with Him.

I love Darren Wilson. I love all his films. I own them. Watch them. Share them. Life changing. Love hearing that Holy Spirit affects Darren through tears as that is my connection with Holy Spirit also. And I love the belief about Holy Spirit as a woman - I agree. Thanks for the interview, Robby.

"We are all on a journey" So true. Peter actually walked with Jesus and fell flat on his face. He went on to become foundational to the spread the word of our Lord and Savior. Thank you for this converaation and explanation. Many blessings.

Thanks Robbie for taking the time to make these podcasts. Darren, thanks for sharing your approach to film making. Honestly, I’ve learned a lot from this episode, on several levels. I live in southern Britain, alone, with a disability called M.E/CFS which makes me mostly bed bound & housebound & socially isolated. I’ve been ill with it for nearly 8 years & a Christian throughout that time. I can go months without any face to face contact. I’m a dude in my early 50s. Single. It can really be tough at times. I’ve gone through a season in the last couple of years where I’ve become distant from God. The illness got to me, made me discouraged & depressed. A month ago I tried to kill myself, I laid down in the middle of a busy town centre road junction with two large kitchen knives, one in each hand, placed on my throat. I was ready to take my life. As I was about to kill myself I heard a woman’s voice. She said, “Don’t do that love. I was in the same position as you three weeks ago. I drove my car into an oak tree, because my husband left me for another woman after 23 years of marriage. You just need help.” She gently talked me down until the emergency services arrived. I felt God loved me after all. He sent someone to intervene. Now I’m daily finding my way back to God & I’m feeling the peace that transcends all understanding & it feels really good. Loving, healing, comforting. I wanted to share this testimony because the conversation encompassed the challenges we can face as Christians, our character flaws, the consequences when we take back our self will. Now, I feel God is loving me back into relationship with Him. Through his living word, the Holy Bible, prayer, in my relationship with Jesus & especially Holy Spirit. Praise Jesus ✝️ Thanks again for today’s podcast. My prayers go out to you Robbie & Darren to your family, friends, your ministry & film making. I pray many more will be blessed in their relationship with God through your good works. Amen! Praise Jesus! ✝️

With respect to the femininity of the Holy Spirit it’s important to remember that the Holy Spirit came upon Mary to conceive Jesus which doesn’t paint the Holy Spirit in a female role but rather a male role.
