The Glory of the Spirit The Holy Spirit wants to bring the revelation of His Glory into our lives... His glory is the most intimate of His manifestation... The Holy Spirit manifest His kingdom to everyone. When Jesus was on earth both sinners, Jews, Gentiles, everyone was impacted by His kingdom. His power he gives to those who say I want to do your will on earth, I want to serve you... But His Glory, he doesn't reveal it just to anybody. His Glory He reveals to those who seek His face... For example, when Jesus was on earth He manifest His kingdom to multitudes, thousands upon thousands but He gave His power to seventy of His servants to go and heal the sick, cast out devils sending them two by two. But He only three of His Disciples He took to the top of the mountain, and to those three only, He revealed His glory. Only three, Peter, James and John. These three were more interested to listening to His Heart than seeing His Power... These three were His closest disciples... I don't know about you... Yes, I want to experience the blessings of His Kingdom (His Peace, Joy, Prosperity, inheritance, rights) and I want to see the manifestation of His power (to witness of Him, to see the sick healed, bound set free) But More than all of that I want to see him... I want to know Him... I want to behold His Glory... His Glory is the manifestation of His nature. His Glory is the manifestation of His character. His Glory is the revelation of who God is of His heart. His Glory is the revelation of His face. There are people who have encountered the power of God and have received tremendous miracles but their lives are not changed...They come and receive a miracle and go right back to the way they came... And we saw this when Jesus was on earth, one time the multitudes were healed and the next thing you know the multitudes were screaming crucify Him. The Power will not transform you but the Glory will... If you ever come in contact or are expose to the Glory your life will be forever changed... You cannot be the same person. Because You will be transformed into His image. (2Corinthians 3:17-18; 2Corinthians 4:6) You desire to know Him... You desire to be one of those intimate disciples of Jesus. You desire to be transformed... Remember, the Bible says we were created in the image of God (Genesis 1:26-27). The image of God talks about the Glory of God. So when God created Adam, he reflected the glory of God. Adam represented God on earth. He was a man full of love, Joy, peace But something happened... Adam sinned and because of sin the image of God in man was distorted and what began to manifest was the nature of sin (Satan's nature), the desires of the flesh. What began to manifest is what we see all around us that's not the image of God... When we see destruction, killing, poverty, sickness, pain, anger, murder, hatred, sorceries, idolatry, jealousy, outburst of wrath, selfish ambition that is not Men reflecting the glory of God. These happened because sin came into this world... Then in Genesis 5:3 the Bible shows us that Adam who had become a sinner gave birth to a son in his own likeness, after his own image and named him Seth... Adam was created in the image of God but gave birth to Seth in his distorted image or sinful state. Sin entered in this world upon man and all that concerns him. If I take a clean piece of paper and I make a photocopy of it, that photocopy is the image of the first one. Now If I take that second copy and make a rough drawing on that piece of paper, no matter how many photocopies I make of it... It will not erase the rough drawing on that paper right? Yes. So these recent copies are in the image of the the distorted paper. Likewise from generation to generation the image of God have been distorted in man... And you and I were begotten in the image of our fathers, and it not only includes our physical appearance but also reflects our character, tendencies... Now when Jesus came on this earth, He was the perfect image of God. He was the reflection of God's Glory, if you saw Jesus you saw God. He was the image of the invisible God. That's Jesus is also called the second and last Adam... The first man, Adam sinned, Jesus the second and last Adam never, sinned... He reflected on the earth the perfect image of God. He was a man full of Love. He was the Love of manifested... And Love is the image of God. Jesus looked at people with eyes full of love. The nature of Love is the mark of the disciples of Jesus. The Bible says By these shall know that you are my disciples if you love not even by the miracles. Jesus was a man full of Joy. Religion paints Jesus as a sad man but t
