If you're in Texas, you can always cash inside a brookshires also at the customer service. They've never given me any issues cashing in $500 winners.

In Colorado, all lottery retailers must pay up to $150 winners. I'm pretty sure it's in their contract when they set it up to sell lottery tickets. Tickets up to $599 can be paid at "participating" lottery retailers. Usually a grocery store. Nice wins today!

Each state is different I guess. In georgia, a store will pay up to 600 at the store. They must have the money for cash prices. In Pennsylvania, stores pay up to 2500 but you sign tax paper work.

Here in Maryland, there are many stores you can go to (mostly liquor stores) where you can claim up to $5,000.00, including claimers. They have the paperwork on site and have the cash. Last time I cashed in, I had a stack of tickets that added up to be a little more than $1400.00 overall. Right now, I have a stack to cash in approaching $2400.00
