The inclination towards bhakti will not come in our heart until we bathe our intellect in the dust of the lotus feet of the Guru. Our intellect is clouded by ignorance from endless lifetimes. Covered with nescience, the intellect can not overcome its ignorance simply by its own efforts. For that, we need to receive knowledge from a Guru, the man of true knowledge who had seen the Truth. Spiritual knowledge is obtained when we 1. approach the Guru with faith and reverence 2. Inquire the Truth from him with humility, and 3. Serve him with dedication.🙏🙏🙏

We are really toys in the hands of bhagawan lord krishna and moved by him subject to individual's karma palan.nothing in our hand, we dont know what is going to occur in next minute. It is lord krishna who is moving all ,total surrender and attributing all successes and failures to bhagawan is a must, jai srikrishna

Other than giving inspiring lectures , what else does the “guru” do? I can read the books on my own. I realize in the days of the Bhagavad Gita, there was no public education, nor were the scriptures widely available. Nowadays I can order any scripture on line and read them myself. I can watch videos on KZbin and listen to podcasts. Who needs a guru?
