The gates of hell represents, like the gates of a city, not just for defense but a place where the city fathers would sit and plan out the city’s future. So Jesus is saying that all the strategies and plans of hell will never prevail against the church! Nor will they prevail against us.

As I read in Kings and then Judges they tempted God all the time, God would continue to warn them what would happen to them if they still worshipped other Gods. It's like children throwing their tantrums, to see if God would appear, eventually God did appear to punish them.

This video is wonderful. The doctrine about Jesus being the Rock not Peter is right on the mark. I would recommend getting rid of the thought and images of men, Including Jesus having long hair, that is completely unscriptural. And the phrase " the church" the real church is spiritually born again believers not buildings. Church buildings are only for pagans, as you can see in the new testament if you can understand God's word. Use the KJV not the modern vatican corruptions.

I can humbly say I do not know everything and Gods intentions in full spectrum but with the flood we know that the wickedness was great at that time similar to today; people were sacrificing their children to false gods, mating with animals, etc. God said there was only evil in them none of them were righteous in his sight, except for Noah and his family. They had sin yes but Noah was faithful to God like Moses, David, etc. God will use us to act His greater plan and we cant fully understand it all. The word says that Giants existed after the flood and also we have David slaying Goliath (a giant) as further proof giants existed after the flood. Many have done further study and come to determine the reason for this is a genetic phenomenon. The wives of the sons of noah were of gentile blood/from heathen nations and had the genetic ability to create giant offspring, like how today we have dominate and recessive genes. 2. The garden. Adam and Eve chose to eat the fruit and sin yes they were tempted by Lucifer but that is because we have free will. If God made it so we couldn't choose then that would be control and wouldn't be true love. God also gave angels free will they had freedom to chose and unfortunatly Lucifer even knowing God in His full greatness decided he wanted to be his own god out of his own pride causing him to fall. Unlike us, Lucifer can not be redeemed. Yes he "rules" this world and God allows it cause Lucifer has free will but also because GOD is in control and is preparing for the world to be cleansed by fire as told in Revelation. sorry for the long comment I can respond more but here is just a bit for now to read and you can see where your questions go from here
