@@b.niemann3215 that’s incorrect.... many Iranian writers refuse to use the word Farsi because this is how it’s pronounced in Arabic .... As there is no “P” letter in Arabic language and they use “F” word and call it Farsi .... so Parsi is correct

This is nothing like other songs to react to. This song is so deep. Full of Sufism myth and ancient stories. It's technically pure and heavy and it's for voice teachers to decode amazing thechniques. The video is kinda animated miniature paintings. Deep knowledge about Persian literature and Sufism will reveal the world behind lyrics that I can not even interpret all. And of course you are beautiful and keep doing good work here.

This animation is similar to the story of Adam and similar to the poems of Rumi. A person who turns away from his love and goes everywhere to find him, sometimes gets involved in events and sometimes gets involved with demons and devils. He is restless away from love and is running towards her, while his love is in his heart. It is about seeking man to find God. And we all know that Rumi was a mystic who loved God.

And before Arabs conquer iran like 1200 year ago it was called Parsi but since arabic doesn't have p they replaced it with Farsi and it remain the same ever since.

Well well well 😁 this song lyrics is even difficult to understand for some of Iranian so let say this lyric is one of the oldest poets and this singer and his father are famous because of their interest toward Persian ancient history and culture. And the name of instrument is Tar and Se Tar (not Sitar, Indian instument, but the same family instrument). In this song, Homayon tried to mix traditional song with some western style I guess. And not bad at all. I enjoyed it. Way to go 💪👏
