Kaalapani is a movie everyone in this country should watch at least once. It had everything and all those things were done very well too. Casting, art, costumes, music, drama, action...the list goes on. I recall watching it in theatres and to this day I don't know why or how it bombed. It can be the Shawshank Redemption from Kerala. To think about it, there are a lot of parallels including life in a prison.

In reality, we have been watching blockbusters of Malayalam movies which are dubbed, remade in many languages including telugu since 4 decades! Prabhas is genuine and honest to recollect kalapani which was cult movie. Yodha of Mr.Mohan Lal , Many dubbed movies of Mr. Mammotty were blockbusters in telugu.... Some 2 years back suddenly a movie clip pooped up Ayappan Koshiyum,,i dont understand Malayalam but searched for the movie and watched it, watching it first time my eyes were mostly on the subtitles to understand the dialogues and immediately i watched second time this time with less view on the subtitles ,, After that in the next 3 months i watched nearly some 10-12 movies of Prithviraj sukumaran and deep inside i felt how come the directors and producers of other industry have not approached such a brilliant actor,But i did not know until salaar was released that prithviraj sukumaran is working in a pan India movie.. Really big thanks to Prashant Neel for giving the global stage to such a brilliant actor and that too with the biggest Star Prabhas and it is the sheer brilliance of Prithvi Raj sukumaran that he has been portrayed on Such a scale another actor would have been gobbled up by the sheer presence of Prabhas...

I have seen this movie and Animal. Truthfully, the violence in Salaar is much more warranted than it will be in Animal. Salaar, every frame was just right. Loved it. Absolutely loved that the whole mass number/unnecessary romantic duet was not put in.

I am proud of #PrashanthNeel 1. He properly built up the story of complete set up, characters introduction and their vibe. And the story line. I can understand why Prabhas is shown in this character this much silent but internally a violent man who is controlling himself and his sensitive side in Part 1.
