Personally for me, Home Alone 3 is the funniest Home Alone in the entire franchise. Plus, it is a stand alone sequel as it is different families, different characters and different criminals. 4 for me is an insult to 1 and 2 as the actors don't fit the characters continuing from 1 and 2. The actor playing Kevin in 4 does not fit Kevin at all and same with Marv here aswell.

@@biwakigaming_offical Home Alone 4 was acted in 2002 so there is no way they would have been able to use Macaulay Culkin as He was 22 when it was acted. It also makes sense why Home Alone 4 to 6 were all terrible as they were weren't produced by John Hughes who produced Home Alone 1 to 3. And yeah I was thinking the same about Marv in Home Alone 4. He literally looks more like Harry. Marv was tall in HA 1 and 2. In HA 4, He is basically shorter and the same height as Harry from HA 1 and 2. Also, Kevin in HA 4 is 9 which makes 0 sense as Kevin in HA 2 was 10. So they should have made Kevin a little bit older in HA 4 as it is meant to be a continuation from HA 1 and 2.

This movie is easily my least favourite in the Home Alone franchise. Some of the traps, like the dumbwaiter, the saucepan, and the revolving door were OK, but Kevin evolved into an actual psychopath in this movie. I laugh at slapstick violence as much as the next person, but he was laughing way too hard. Overall, don't bother with this movie.

@alexandralaird5949 That could be one reason why Daniel Stern didn't want to continue his character as Marv since he said that he felt that this fourth film was a joke. The only confusing things I felt was that Marv got arrested at the end of the second film and his first scene on this film showed him not in jail not explaining whether he escaped or got released. The other confusing thing is that Kevin was 8 years old on the first film, 10 years old on the second film, and 9 years old on the fourth film being unknown why his age went from 8 to 10 to 9.
