That is actually really thoughtful of them, kid probably seen it as play joke, and if it was some real girl. Imagine 10 year later (especially considering how popular movie is) being a kid girl that they all laughed and still laugh how ugly you are.

@@jp3813 Turtle Doves were just okay. Old man in 1 was way better done, Church scene was amazing, and his ending was 10/10. Nothing in Home Alone 2 tops the church scene in 1, IMO.

I've never seen you guys laugh so hard and often! I would love to see you guys watch "The Ref" with Dennis Leary and Kevin Spacey. It's a great change of pace Christmas movie. It's rated R but it's still a family movie. Not in the sense that you can watch it with your family that has children but rather it's about a family. One of my favs!

1. John Candy did his part al lib and FREE for his friend John Hughes RIP to both of them. 2, The the items in Kevin's bags were all empty and not the same as what he had a checkout. 3. There's NO WAY Kevin could clean up that fast. 4. Macaulay Culkin worked with John Candy (and Hughes) in Uncle Buck. That's how he got this gig. 5. Great first time/share. HINT HINT

Always a classic. This is what all future attempts to recapture the magic are missing: The child gets mad and wishes his family was gone but then has to 'grow up' and run things by himself which develops him into a more likeable character as he realizes his mistake. It's not JUST the part with the burglars and traps. Making an entire movie out of that one part does not work.

Joe Pesci and Daniel Stern, Harry and Marv, deserve a lot of credit. They could have easily either not given any effort since it was a family movie, or hammed it up so much they were obnoxious. Instead, they were perfect. Funny and over the top but at the perfect level.

Loved this reaction! Glad to hear Dad's doing well, I was just wondering about him recently. I'll never forget that one time he was passing through during Stranger Things, think it was the first season, and he suddenly vanished 😄 This isn't one I watch often for the holidays, but I do enjoy it, along with the second one. There aren't any others as far as I'm concerned 😄 Such a great cast! And I always forget John Candy's in it too 😃

This is why I love reactions. I watch Home Alone every Christmas multiple times since I was a kid, I can keep up with the dialogue. But to experience movies/shows through others bring back the original joy of the 1st time watching it ❤️

By far one of my favorite Christmas movies alongside it's sequel, Lost in New York. I just love the performance of Macaulay Culkin and Christopher Columbus direction, that makes this film a timeless classic during the Holidays. It's crazy that last year was the film's 30th Anniversary and next year will be the 2nd film's 30th Anniversary. Hope you get to react to Shang-Chi

Fast fact, in another marriage, and under a different name, the mother also had another child named "Lydia Deetz". But apparently after a failed art career, and scandal involving her daughter being engaged to a ghost, she left the family and became a part of the McCallister family. Sadly, after several years with this family and losing her son twice, she became a ragdoll of her former self, and began hanging around a thin and tall guy named "Jack", where she helped in a kidnapping/Santa-napping plot. Despite her part in the crime, she became involved in law, and became a judge, until a 'A Series of Unfortunate Events', when she tried to marry a 14 year old girl to a 42 year old guy. Last I heard, in 2021 her status had been changed io "Extinct".

While I love movie and do find it really funny, his family especially mother I find really irresponsible. I mean ok one mistake on counting but really no matter how big is, if they do take that responsibility taking that amount of kids they should be know to be able doing it. Especially only once count the kids considering how big trip is. And then complaining to everyone and yelling around, I understand they were desperate, but yelling and attacking that women on the phone in airport (you did not shown scene but everyone who watched movie know what I mean) it was their mistake plus loads of phones on side. Plus one funny note, Joe Pescie and his "shhwgla, grgla" and other mumbling was because he was not allowed to curse in the movie so he improvised. Plus actor who played Marv when Kevin drooped him spider on the face he has Arachnophobia for real and he was only doing that scene once and was real scream of terror.
