I love how they added another detail of how are two Slug and Guru halves of the same person and are opposites; Guru is really lazy and fat, Slug cares about being fit and works out a lot.

Have you guys watched the reboot for Super Mario Bros Z from Mark Haynes (AKA, Alvin Earthworm)? It's a 16-bit crossover between Mario and Sonic, with elements from DBZ, and it's _amazing._ I'd suggest the reboot first. It starts out at extremely high quality, unlike the original (which, as with most things, started out not that great). The creator wrote himself into a corner with the original and decided to reboot it several years later, but it got him practice at making incredible fighting scenes. The man inspired so many of today's computer animators, including Monty Oum of RWBY and RvB fame. Heartily recommend. Feel free to watch the original after the reboot.
