Mine is spoilt but she's developed seizure like episodes we had rough few months trying2 get answers they first thought it was epilepsy, then they thought it was her heart. Turned out its neither but she caries a gene for a disorder called episodic falling syndrome which can LOOK like epilepsy but it's not. I had her tested and it came back as a RECESSIVE gene and my local vet thought that meant she wouldn't have symptoms or be affected. In end we went to a specialist who said he's seen it before and it CAN affect them, alho they don't understand why and these cases are so rare they can't find enough for a proper study. There's no many treatments for it except anti epilepsy need or prozac or sedative type drugs. Thankfully she's not had an episode since January but it's extremely unpredictable can disappear for months and then return suddenly for no apparent reason. At least I now know what's causing it. He said no need for more regular meds as atm the episodes are quite far apart. Shes here on my knee atm demanding my 🥪 🤣
