I've used a few sugars as priming sugar and find caster sugar works best for me. I have always had very lively ciders with it.

Yes, deffo agree on the caster sugar.

I always enjoy the experimental nature of your videos and the surprise when they come out tasting quite nice. Have you ever tried making hard cider with LOWICZ drink syrup. Comes in raspberry, strawberry and cherry. No harmful additives and makes a great tasting flavour. Get in all supermarkets in Polish section.

Hi Gingerking, not tried Lowicz yet, but I know plenty that have done. I’m certain that I will do one day soon. Glad you’re liking the films. 🍻

Oh, decided to do more weird-ass candy flavoured cider eh? XD Looks more like Fanta-y colour if mixed with apple juice! XD You mad mate, but surprising lot of creative lately. :) Also, I never heard of Buck's Fizz giving I'm form outside UK :lol: I noticed this video was filmed in March (According to date.) I assumed it's mouths ago. I won't ready transfer the drink to plastic bottle it really affect the taste. Otherwise, nice job bruv :)

Why so many bubbles on British airlocks??
@MossHomeandGarden Жыл бұрын
They're not all like that, there are many different kinds - these were actually 'Made in China' :)

@@MossHomeandGarden They look super cool and space age. I just thought maybe something was different in the local ecology that requires multiple bubbles for some reason?. The US always seems to have a single bubble or three piece ones.

So, cider is derived from a word meaning strong (alcoholic) drink. The term hard cider is redundant.
@MossHomeandGarden2 жыл бұрын
It’s purely for the American and Aussie KZbinrs Simon, they refer to the alcoholic version as ‘hard’. Personally I wouldn’t ordinarily use that term in a UK context. Cheers 🍻

We Yanks call it a "Mimosa"🍺

Hi Rex, yes I found out afterwards when checking if there was an apostrophe in Buck’s, maybe I should amend the title of the film….cheers! 🍻
