i don't create ambient music myself but i've really enjoyed listening to a bit of it. also with the electronic music i create, i do everything "in the box". i couldn't handle all that outboard gear, all the connectivity/syncing required, the specialized (to my mind) workflow those pieces of kit would require, the extra space and hardware needed to just have a studio, BUT... i've always LOVED just looking at studio setups like this, while listening to what they are capable of creating. so lovely really - just the look of the different gear and all the lights, keys, pads, knobs, sliders... and thinking to myself "oh wow, what does that one do" or "wow that one looks cool and complicated, i wonder how that one figures into the compositions". in my mind, one has to be a real genius of sorts to work this way... a lover of synths and technology on a deep level... able to get deep into programming on these various pieces of kit - each with its own personality - to create such amazing sounds and soundscapes in this way. bravo... you and your ilk are a most talented and unique group of people... and you have created some absolutely fantastic sounds here

@MartinStuertzer2 жыл бұрын
@stevelinkwitz58992 жыл бұрын

Great stuff as usual! I was wondering: I never see you fiddling around with FX settings during a liveset..So dont you have any modulation on them?
@MartinStuertzer2 жыл бұрын
Thank you! Yes, I spent a lot of time preparing the FX settings and use different settings with every sounds. I prepare the snapshots within the Ableton Effect racks. The MIdi clips in Ableton send the control values and also change the patches on the hardware synths.
