Love the candles. I really like the way hand painted flowers look on glass or candles. They have a vintage look that is always nice. I’ve been to the struggle website and ordered some transfers. It’s been a while since any rub rub rubbin was done in this house, and it shows. Some people have a name for cutting the picture up close. I’ve got scissors with big handles that seem to keep the cramps at bay. Or find a 7th grade girl to do it. Just don’t yell if she messes up. 😊. Isn’t inspiration seeing something that gives you ideas of your own? I always figured inspiration was not necessarily to replicate as much as it is to create our own design from the inspiration piece.

You are absolutely correct about the inspiration!! I just like to remind people that on dupe videos because I get some comments that it's not exact. So, I always try reminding them it's inspired! I know it’s beautiful before you even start. I’m so happy I got my order today because I didn’t want to clean house this weekend. I was totally blown away when hubby brought the mail in and told me my order was delivered. I have to wait at least 7-10 days usually but when I saw it was delivered I started jumping around like when hubby gave me my wedding ring (and at my age it is dangerous 😂). And now you’re giving me ideas that I can use. Thanks for ALL you do! ❤️❤️❤️I hate working with moss. So yukky! I don’t have any patience for bows. I use rafia- a regular tie and I am always looking for reasonably priced ones on Amazon or Walmart. Yeah for being a city girl I could always get them at the craft stores but now we are in the too-lies 😂❤❤❤ thanks again. And know that you and your family are in our prayers ❤️❤️❤️

I do not frequent Lowes, but I do Home depot I get 1 x 6 x 4 in the pre cut sections. They are 4 ft long. And about $8 bucks You can get then unfinished and finished in longer strips which are slightly more expensive. But, still a great deal for DIY and cutting down. This is a go to fo me when I'm building items!! I hope this helps! Sorry it is not Lowes. I am not as familiar with items and prices there!

I have talked about this before. The greatest form of flattery is imitation. And, I have even had a few from etsy message me thanking me for featuring their item. It brought people to their site. So, me showing their name and product brought them traffic and finacial prosperity. I never ever claim any idea is MINE. AND, also express how many are better. Also never tell anyone NOT TO PAY those prices. Because, I myself sell my CRAFTS. I am also a vendor and sell at an art market. I am fully aware or the financial time and energy it takes to create handmade pieces. So, appreciate your input but I look at the glass completely different then you. And, I know some of the sellers do as well! Showing others how to create crafts don't devalue someone's abilities in who they are as an artist. KZbin, Tik tok, IG is full of artists constantly sharing their skills and selling items. People purchase things because they believe in the individual they purchase from and enjoy their talents and skills. Since the dawn of time people have been recreating items they see like many famous portraits are imitated but the value in the initial artist work doesn't depreciate because others want to duplicate it for one reason or another.

And really.. do we know that the items being sold on Etsy are original ideas? I doubt it very much. As crafters, we share and build on others ideas. Some sell at craft fairs, Etsy or have their own websites. A little competition keeps one honest…as the old adage goes.
