Fun fact- the octagonal shaped weaving (as featured on those fab shelves) is called “Vienna Straw”. It takes it’s name from an iconic set of bentwood chairs designed by Thonet to furnish a cafe in Vienna (he used the design in the seating). So great to see this type of woven straw and caning enjoying a revival- it’s an endangered heritage craft. Thanks for another great haul Iwan 💙

The vase Kate gave you is very pretty and a really nice size. My drink of choice is always diet coke. Yes, the sun is shining here on the southeast coast of Florida. Temps are in the high 70's. Really nice weather. Would love to see you make a Spring wreath using only Pound Land items. I'm thinking it would be the same as our Dollar Tree stores here in the U.S. I have a You Tube diy channel and I don't think I could create going live. Your little flowers may be miniature daffodils which are part of the narcissi family. They all smell lush and are a little bit of sunshine! Maybe you could do something with one of the LED pillar candles from poundland x

I think that little glass tray with with the Flowers & Greenery is actually very well done ~ all except for the way that it was carried out, as I would have glued a piece of flat foam down, inside ~ a bit smaller, than the actual piece, allowing a bit of extra room to sneak a bit of moss in, around & on top of the foam, before adding flowers & greenery ~ to view through the glass, giving the piece a more Earthy Feel. I actually work with florals, making Handmade Arrangements & Wreaths. I Love Greenery ~ You definitely made the right choice, with that one. ❤️XO

Those woven shelves and glass jar...i have very fond childhood memories of those things....when i was growing up our dining table chairs had those weaves on the seat and back rest.....n sumtyms they would come lose and then we had to get these guys to weave them back and trust me i enjoyed watching them manually weaveing it bak.

The "mini Daffodils" are Narcissus and they smell amazing they also have ones with white petals and a deep yellow middle cup.. great choice on flowers to bring a sweet smell of spring into your home.

I will check the candle link now to see what they have, it would have been nice to have the bargain you had, but 20% off is still nice, so will go take a look. We did have some sunshine for a while in Cheshire, however, later on today, it was hurricane force winds and rain, don't know why I'm surprised, we've had it for the past month or so. Hi, When you showed the little basket and said you would put a liner pot in there, I have an idea for you :) In Morrisons (the supermarket) they have 5 white plant pots, which are actually small bin sized for 99p (yes 5 of them for 99p) I bought them a couple of weeks back and they still have them, they are perfect size for this sort of thing. :) You could even put some sort of sticker or quote on them, if you wanted to use them for other things too.

Heading to Home Bargains to get a bin basket! I saw someone use the vase as a kind of terrarium, they just put a green plant in the bottom of it and it looked really good (well on their pic of it)... also know exactly what I'm going to send you from the land of Pound as it is a rubbish dupe of what I want.
