Hello everyone, my name is Julie and on Thrilled Thrifter you will find that I absolutely love thrift shopping.(Especially for home decor!) I share all things thrift here on my channel to teach you how to go thrifting for your home, family and friends. {I'm not a reseller!} I mostly thrift at Goodwill, yard/garage sales, FB marketplace, antique stores, estate sales and so many other local thrift stores. I believe you can make your home beautiful on a thrifty budget! I will take you on so many thrift with me shopping trips, share my thrift hauls and almost always show you how to use thrift finds in your home. I post every Friday and sometimes on Tuesday. I agree. The resellers are getting outrageous. I saw a video where a fight broke out at a GW bins store, shoppers were kicked out of the store for arguing over pieces. They line up in the cold before the stores open. Some freak out if they're not 1st in line. Good grief!. What kills me is they'll show how much they pd & how much more they resell for...& people buy at those crazy prices.

Your stacking laundry baskets were a good find. You could use the wood candlestick to display your daughter's graduation cap! The little bowl looked just right with the creamer. Fun to see how you use your finds!😊❤

Always get a lot of compliments on the design of my home, and love the way you style the things you purchase. Which goes to show that good taste and creativity is more important than deep pockets.

Girl, let me just tell you, I love your videos! I have lupus and fibromyalgia and I don't get to the thrift stores as much as I'd like. HI Julie..We have had company and our grass was so high I was afraid we woukd need a hay bailer so I am very behind on videos. I too, have tried not to bring stuff in my home, unless I absolutely love something. I almost have a store in my attic and you know I do not resell.😮😢You got some nice things and GW actually had good prices on what you got. We are going to an estate sale tomorrow. I am on the hunt for another laundry basket like your two. My very favorite item is the dogwood plate. I love Spring so much. One of the reasons I love Spring is the dogwoods in our front and side yard. They are very old and I know one day they won't flower. There are smaller ones closer to the river and one very large pink one close to the neighbors beside us. The dogwoods also remind me of my childhood. Good evening ms Julie! I have the exact same basket that I use for laundry only-I Always have, BUT NOW I see another use for it- lovely decor as you have used it! Thanks! Another great idea is the pedestal for Elizabeth’s table! Aw dogwood plate is beautiful displayed. I thought sure you’d get the white cup with the brown scallop edge-looked to me like restaurant ware…so fun to enjoy looking at things you use everyday . Perfect little pairing. ❤ Funny how some things are just meant to be. I thrift for my home and family. Not a huge fan of resellers. I'm a disabled mom (my ex- husband passed away so I'm the only parent). If not for thrift shopping I wouldn't be able to afford even half of the beautiful things I've found. Creating a simple yet beautiful space for my family is so important to me.

There are a lot of comments, expressing how much we all like to watch you thrift for your own home. I am going to add that if you ever find yourself with an overabundance, you could become styler for a real estate co. When I was in my 20s, which was a long time ago, I did this for my dad’s real estate company. It was so fun and I used pieces that I had and I got paid to go in and decorate the homes he had listed. It was soooo fun and sometimes people would purchase the pieces with the home. 😁 and, let’s be honest it’s a good way to be able to keep shopping after you fill up your own home. Ha ha ha I can’t help myself, but I love hunting for treasures and I didn’t want my home to turn into a hoarders home.😂
