In 1990, after getting married and moving to Naples, FL, I began to miss my Tennessee home. I was in Walgreens, where they were playing Christmas music. This song came on, and I had a complete meltdown right in the middle of the store, longing for my home. Thank you, Alabama, for this song. It will always remind me of that day, it touched my heart to its core. I did go home, and I am permanently home, God willing. Alabama, the music you've made is a song to my soul and Home Free, you're on your way!!! God bless you Jeff . Many prayers lifted up

What a treat this was. Years ago I made my husband take a detour to Ft. Payne on our way to Florida. We went to Alabama’s fan club. Randy has always been my favorite. I was walking through a mall years ago and they were holding a contest. They asked if anyone knew the names of the members of the group Alabama. I did! I won an album. Yes, an album. One time my husband I were driving down I-75 coming home from Florida and I glanced to my right and there in the car next to me was Randy! He saw me acting like a typical fan and he smiled. Sweet memories. It was great to see these guys together. God bless you all for the joy you bring us.

I've loved Alabama since I first heard of them, they were my first, third, and last concert I ever went to, what a great show they put on all three times (2 were front row tickets). What can I say, I was quick on the phone back in the early 80's with radio station give a ways on tickets lol. One of the saddest days was when I first heard Jeff had Parkinsons. When I first got out of sorts in the early 2000's, and the doctors sent me for a brain MRI, they were upfront in what they were looking for. Brain tumor, Parkinson's or Multiple Sclerosis. I was lucky I guess, mine ended up being Multiple Sclerosis. My thoughts and prayers go out to Jeff Cook and all on stage.
