That's right! Austin has a very country accent because of being from South Georgia! It's truly natural! I can vouch for that because I'm from just a few minutes away from his hometown and I sound the same way!

The funny thing is when Austin went to school for musical theater he learned how to get rid of it so then when he joined Home Free he was told to let it loose so he did!

Austin is from south Georgia so the twang is real from his upbringing and he can sing without the twang too because he had the formal training in music theatre etc. but he can let his hair down and use it in Home Free and it's safe.

The country twang come natural for Austin Brown since he is from Tifton, Georgia. The hear him sing a song without the twang, going back to his degree in musical theater and his cruise ship days, check out Bring Him Home under his name. He sounds wonderful and his last sustained none always brings tears to my eyes with its beauty.

Tim Foust (bass) is from southeast Texas; Austin Brown is from south Georgia; Rob Lundquist (lead tenor), Adam (Beatboxer) & his brother Chris Rupp (cowboy hat) are all from Minnesota. When Chris left the group, Adam Chance joined - he's originally from Alabama. Austin spent his years in college (on a full music scholarship) trying to nullify his Georgia accent - when he joined Home Free they told him to stop trying.

Seems like every release is of the highest quality and there just doesn't seem to be a bad song among them. What a fun reaction!🥳 You don't have to be a vocal coach or anything else to enjoy home free with the "Home Fries"! You do great just like you are! As for Austin's Southern "twang", it's his real Georgia accent! It's pretty much impossible to get rid of! I should know, I've been in Southeast Tennessee & Northwest Georgia area all my life & you wouldn't believe how many different Southern accents there are from one house (not area) to the next! I love this video even after about 200 times watching it! 😊

OK, …. Aust Brown….is one incredibly talented young man…..he grew up singing in the church…&, his Dad had a gospel quartet…& Austin would travel with him in the summers. Then, he studied class musical theater in college & studied like hell to lose that Georgia boy accent. Then, Home Gree brought him on with …hey….we Need that accent back 🙃🔥 Austin has his own KZbin channel….& he’s got some AWESOME VIDEOS he’s done. His girlfriend (Amberly)…does 5he filming….they are too cute together. Do his own…”LET’S TAKE THE NIGHT OFF”….. he wrote it…he’s got several on there. And, you do Need to do…”BRING HIM HOME” …from Les Miserables…..it’s KILLER…you can see his non Georgia accent❤️🔥‼️💥

Exactly right, Ruth! I've had to remind a LOT of reactors to watch & then if they need to go back & listen, that's great, but most of their videos show their interpretation of the song's meaning or tell a story so without the video, it's just another song! A few did it today on the new release! They were so caught up in the beautiful harmonies they didn't even "get" the point which was the sweet puppy's story! 😊

Just recently stumbled on to your channel. I enjoyed this reaction and decided to come along and watch your journey down the rabbit hole of Home Free, Voice Play and Pentatonix. Just to answer your question about a "country twang" yes some of us do have a bit of that naturally. You will notice that depending on who you encounter and where they come from different people may have different accents. Even in your own country someone's manner of speech may depend on where they live or were raised. I'm from South Georgia in the US. I grew up in a town that was roughly an hour from Tifton Georgia where Austin Brown is from. We all have that same southern accent or twang. My family members however from the northern US have a different accent. Where I might paRk the CaR in the yaRd, they paHk the CaH in the yaHd. Lol! Gotta love accents. Thanks again for the reaction. Now I'm going to go through and see what you have reacted to already.

Hahaha…it’s a good one. Austin (Thor) is from Georgia so he comes by that accent naturally. He’s learned to lose it and then add it depending on the song. Tim (bass) is from Texas so he can bring the country sound too. Chance (not in this video) is from Alabama so he’s a southern boy too. Only Adam Rupp (beatboxer) and Rob (glasses) are from Minnesota. Chris, (in the cowboy hat) is Adam’s brother and is from Minny too. Chris left in 2016 to go solo. He and his brother founded Home Free in 2000. Anyway, Chance joined in 2016 and everyone else is the same except for Tim cutting his hair. You’re from Canada. Do you play hockey? Or watch hockey? I’m a Sid Crosby fan and Penguins fan and an Avalanche fan too. Love hockey!🥰

I was born in southwest U.S., grew up in the Midwest, moved to southeast, and now live in Texas. And my accent is real crazy cuz of it so yes, where you live does color your language and what words you use. Not many people I meet know what pop is -- they say cola or Pepsi or Coke. Just a funny 😁 observation

Austin was trying to get rid of his accent years ago. But then he joined Home Free and they told him to leave it alone. If you watch older videos, like from the sing off, his accent was there but not as strong. It has gotten stronger the more he stopped fighting it. Now it is a sweet, pure South Georgia accent.

You should react to "Never Going To Give You Up" first watch the original version by Rick Astley,, because HF basically re-creates the original video, right down to the cloths they wore. It's funny seeing them wear cloths from the 80's, even made the video quality look like it was filmed in the 80's. It's one of their entertaining and funny songs/videos. Suggestion as a "reactor"; make the screen of yourself smaller (as in lower, corner, etc...), and the pic of the video more main screen. Yes, we want to see your reaction, but, for new viewers, they want to see WHAT you're reacting to! Viewers want to see you, but they need more to see what/who you are talking about. So, if your personal screen is large, it blocks off too much, and many viewers will neither hit "like", or react to you again. This is my "opinion", based on trying to help you out, and you are free to take it or leave it.
