It’s a good rendition. Avi has a beautiful voice. Home Free sang this on the NBC show the Sing Off and Tim went even lower than he did here. Jewel, who was a judge on the show, said it had a country reggae beat. So true. Home Free sings another Johnny Cash song Folsom Prison Blues - it’s so good. Try Helplessly Hoping, I Can’t Outrun You, In the Blood, One Man Band to hear great harmonies. Good reaction boys and I subscribed.😀

Love the arrangement of that song!! Avi and Tim were great! Made me have goosebumps on Tim’s last note WOW!! Adam Rupp’s beatboxing was unreal!! If I had not of listen to Adam Rupp drum solo not sure if I would have believed it was his voice making them sounds! But WOW his drum solo was awesome! Great reaction! I love Home Free😊

This song is done in a reggae calypso beat. It showcases the higher & lower ranges of both Tim Foust & Avi Kaplan. That last note of Tim is impressive with how low he goes, but more impressive is how long he sustains the note. On the "Sing Off Show" that Home Free won in 2013 Tim goes even lower on this song "Ring Of Fire" & he impressed the judges so much that they gave them a standing ovation. And Adam Rupp once again was stellar in his vocal percussion.

Two fantastic bass singers in one song, that's phenomenal. And the arrangement is just top. Adam's vocal percussion is fantastic. But Tim's last note is fire, an absolutely clear low note that he also holds for a very long time. Great reaction!

I found Home Free about 3 years ago. Something after the unexpected death of my partner. It was a way to relax after a very difficult period, but also to finally be able to do what I loved to do: listen to music. ... Ring of Fire was the first thing I saw of HF (Actually because I'm a big fan of Avi). From that moment on, it became more and more. HF really is that great. All amazing voices with their own specialties, great harmonies, deep bass and the inhuman mouth artist Adam Rupp.Until today I listen to HF every day. But it is also true that from that moment on I rarely listen and watch PTX. When Avi left PTX, PTX lost a lot, but Avi gained a lot with his unique voice.

Great reaction, guys! I've watched this at least 100 times & never get tired of it! The only thing wrong with it is that it's way too short! This one is older, BEFORE 2016, when Chris was still with the group but he was fantastic too. All the guys were amazing (especially Adam Rupp) including Avi, but Tim blows the bottom out with his last note & holds it forever. He's THE best basso profundo with the widest voice range of 5+ octaves! All the other guys have amazing ranges too!😊 You should react to their most recent release, "Ain't Going Down Til the Sun Comes Up". It's on their Facebook page, NOT on KZbin due to copyright issues, but it's a real PARTY! Adam Rupp KILLS it! 😊🥳🎶

Thank you gentlemen for spot lighting Home Free this month it is very appreciated. As you have begun to find out they can sing I almost any genre. If you want to discover some of there non-country songs here are a few suggestions R & B END OF THE ROAD by Boyz2Men, Soul - WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN by Percy Sledge ( highlyrecommended) and LOVE TRAIN by The O’Jays . They also did UNCHAINED MELODY but unlike the Rightous Brother cover they went back and paid homage to the origin of the song from the 1955 movie Unchained. You also might be interested in a collaboration of U2’s I STILL HAVEN’T FOUND WHAT I AM LOOKING FOR . This was done by Peter Hollens featuring Home Free ( also highly recommended) . Looking forward to more Home Free in your normal rotation. You gentlemen have a great day

@@BritPopsReact Hi BP2, great to hear from you. I have several suggestions for you; forgive me if you've already done any of these and I don't remember or if I've suggested any before. I'm not a young man like you and it's difficult for me to remember what I did yesterday! Looks like you might have only done one Halestorm reaction. If you like powerhouse female rockers (Joan Jett, Pat Benatar) I suggest you react to I Am the Fire by Halestorm. Yes, she is the fire! Not sure if it's BP1's cup of tea but maybe he's advanced more than I give him credit for. Also check out Break In by Lzzy Hale featuring Amy Lee. He'll like that one. I'm sure you're familiar with Dire Straits and Sultan's of Swing (assuming you aren't brain dead; you're pretty eloquent) but it's well worth doing the live version from Alchemy Live concert. Blows the studio version out of the water! Lastly I'd suggest the live version of See The Light by Jeff Healy here: www.google.com/url?q=m.youtube.com/watch%3Fv%3DgwgOUzodS6E&sa=U&ved=2ahUKEwiK5c-2iPH2AhWrGDQIHUa-CR0QyCl6BAgBEAE&usg=AOvVaw3IB0AlHgMeO9JFzZgFt-dE Not sure if you've heard of him but he's a blind guitarist who's pretty spectacular and this live Night Music performance is really spectacular. As always, hoping you two are doing great. I look forward to whatever you're going to do next. Cheers!

@Roadkill Hello and thanks for the reply, we always appreciate it when viewers that the time to come back. OK on to your suggestions, we did the one song from Halestrom and actually quite enjoyed that one and I will note down your suggestion for a follow up, BP1's Metal tolerance has increased quite a lot, so we should revisit more Metal songs soon. As for Dire Straits, we they are one of my all time favourite bands, so it quite hard to do reactions to those guys, but we have done a few covers of their, most notable for us, were Leo Frogleap Studios, and the REO Brothers. One of my all time favourites is the live version of Telegraph Road, the version from Basel with the slide guitar intro is very nice as is the Alchemy Tour version, I have watched that concert so many times. We must try and find an excuse to do something from Dire Straits, they are great. I am really into my guitarists and I know Jeff Healey, I doubt BP1 has and I do have him on the list for us to try and get to at some stage, good call on that one. We are working on a few different ideas, we will be doing some "BritPop" revisits soon, as we are called Britpops, so we will revisit some of the golden oldies and perhaps bring them to the attention of people who may not have got it when it first came out. Also, we are working on some solo reactions, to artists and bands where we put out 5 reaction in a week to one artist or band to get a better idea of what they are all about, as sometime just doing a one off reaction, we may not quite get it and for those, I may concentrate on the heavier artists and bands myself. What we both enjoy the most is finding brand new artists we had no idea about and that makes doing the channel worth the effort and of course getting comments from regular viewers too. I know you have dropped in quite often over the past year since we started the channel and have probably seen many changes to our format and style, we are sort of getting more comfortable with it now and our personalities are coming through more. Hope you have a great day and always nice to hear from you. Who are your favourite band? All the best for now and stay safe out there. BP2

@@BritPopsReact I saw your reply on my comment/song list in your reaction to Ambrosia that you had missed that comment earlier. I have to say how thoroughly impressed I am by the effort you take to reply to me and so many others who comment on your reactions, particularly because you guys are now such massive KZbin superstars! My all time favorite band is Pink Floyd, at least partially because my all time favorite guitarist is David Gilmour. But I'll put Led Zeppelin (greatest rock band of all time) and Queen right up there with them. All three of those bands were phenomenal live but Floyd shows were just different. Few bands in history were more influential than The Beatles and I love them too but they were a little early for me; never saw them live. Now that I know you're looking for groups you didn't know I'll have to think hard and see if I can come up with some older stuff that you might not know. Of course their are some really good artists and bands today too but you've discovered a lot of them through other commenters. Some good rock today from Band Maid, Jinjer, and Nightwish for example. Also hot KZbin artists like Angelina Jordan, Diana Ankudinova, and Dimash. I admire their talent but so far to me they're mostly novelty acts because they don't seem to have much original music but we'll see. Thanks for taking time to reply to comments. We little people out here really appreciate attention from big stars like you guys!

I know Johnny Cash's version is "classic" but I much prefer Home Free's "upgrade"--more emotion and much warmer harmonies. And in my opinion, although the crackling bonfire video is great, HF's version with Avi is not even their best. I still prefer the version our HF fellas sang for their third performance on the 4th season of The Sing Off. It just showcases their strengths even better than this one--in my humble opinion. ❣️🎼🥰🎶❤️ (Avi Kaplan has been mentored in bass excellence by Home Free's Tim Foust--this is a great testament to HF's humility to showcase him like this.)

See, I always, always, ALWAYS get conflicted with Home Free. They're super talented, I love their voices, and I've really enjoyed a lot of their stuff. But I don't like the song. And that makes me feel like I should be apologising for not liking it because these guys are great. I'm the same with Avi's solo stuff. Great songwriter, heartfelt lyrics, beautiful voice, but I'm not a fan of his genre. I'm a Contrary Mary today.

@EnderOllie 4 On the contrary, Mary You are free to express your own thought s and give feedback where you wish. We all have our thoughts and should be free to express them where we see fit. This will conclude our Artist Spotlight for March and we have someone new for April, we will mix it up and go with something different but return with PTX spotlight in May. That should be more your cup of tea. Hope all is well in the EnderOllie household, check out the patreon channel, I posted an out an about with BP2 a few days ago and BP1 posted a video today asking for questions, we are counting on you to dig deep. Cheers and keep on post-ing (see what I did there) 😉

@@BritPopsReact ha! No posting at ALL at my Post Office, that's for sure (they've closed the counter as my colleague tested positive today, not caught from ME as we haven't had contact, but the Corona is rife ATM 😞) The customers have been rabid (not an exaggeration). My hubby is now Covid clear, but I'm housebound till at least Sunday. I saw the Patreon post, I'm currently trying to think up some goodies. And yay for PTX spotlight in May. That gives me a month to compose a suitable request post [insert evil laugh here] 😈
