I love it when music makes me feel like I can dance like I used to. The spirit in this song moved my husband and I. Home Free and Texas Hill are such a great collaboration. This was actually written by Tim and Adam Wakefield from Texas Hill. I really wish it was a little longer longer, such a great song. I love Tim's bass carrying through. You cracked me up at the end when Adam kicked the bench out from under him. Lol. Who hasn't stayed when they know they should bounce, don't we all at some point. You, sir, just tickle the daylights out of me! 😊 You have got to be one of my very favorite reactors. You always make me feel so good. I love this song, too. I find myself singing it all day. Tim said it reminds him of the theme song for an '80s sitcom. So Chance's bride Sami did the photo shoot, and they hammed it up like the opening of Family Ties or some such. I don't know if it's on YT or not, but if you can find it, it's worth seeing. These guys seem to have just too much fun. Til next time....have a great night.

Texas Hill just went through a major restructuring prior to this recording when Craig Wayne Boyd left to return to a solo career, and then they added three new band members, so are now a 5 piece band. Not sure yet how the new band sounds or if there will be any future collabs with HF. This song is on HF's So Long Dixie album and was written by Tim, Adam Wakefield (pianist) and Chris Chathum (guitarist on So Long Dixie).

Love the jersy! Wasn't this a terrific collab? HF is awesome in all their acapella glory, but it's a treat when they mesh up with others. Just enough instrumental to keep the hips moving, wonderful vocals, catchy lyrics, and a tune that feels upbeat. This is *way* too short!... I could have done with another verse & chorus for sure. Adam Wakefield is a killer bluesy vocalist, & a very capable keys player, alongside his songwriting skills (he wrote this one with Tim). He had me watching the whole season of "the Voice" he was on.... his bluesy soul thang was always *real* ,& a breath of fresh air for that show. He finished runner-up btw. :)

It's obvious that HF and TH have good chemistry! Once in a while, depending on the arrangement, a few instruments, like this one, are good. But, as for the usual, I still much prefer the acapella style that has made them so popular! These were only two members of Texas Hill (there is three), but have no doubts that Adam Wakefield (lead singer here) is a very good singer and composer. IN my opinion, these groups are good for each other.
