This song was from so far back, it was before CDs and back when 8 Track tape was very popular. HF did a wonderful job on this song. Doing it in such a raw form was genius! Yep, Chance (Adam Chance) the baritone started, then Rob Lundquist (tenor) and then Austin Brown (tenor). I think Adam Rupp (beatboxer, tenor) and Tim Faust join in about the same time around the "4 each other" section. Really "5 each other"!

I grew up listening to Crosby, Stills & Nash & had their album with this song Helplessly Hoping. Absolutely loved them & their harmonies. This song is full of alliterations. Home Free more than does justice to all the songs they cover. And this song is perfection to me with the 5 part harmonies. I can't say enough about how great these guys are & humble while still staying respectful to the original song.

One of my favorites of theirs. Those harmonies are stellar. This is Chance’s baby. He started the singing and directed this and filmed it in black and white. Rob (glasses) is tremendous and Austin (high tenor) came in 3rd. Then Adam (beatboxer) and Tim (bass) came in last. Such a beautiful arrangement. You’re right, it’s too short. Loved it. Chance name is Adam Chance (last name is Ray) he calls himself Chance in the group to no cause confusion over the Beatboxer being Adam Rupp....since Chance came in after Rupp, he uses his middle name within show business context....friends & family all call him Adam, and maybe even privately the guys in the group call him Adam but not sure on that

A reaction that led me a commentary about ptx is a genuine reaction with me, they have been intertwined since ring of fire ( the first home free reaction featuring avi from ptx). So there will be commentary every once in a while with all 3 groups I’ve done so far. That has been the model of my reactions and it will continue to be. Nothing that I am doing will be in a vacuum, that is how I do business. Also I will not stop interacting with all of you nor will I delete your comments or disable the comment section, you can say what you want as long as it isn’t violent, vile, or too vulgar ( I think KZbin handles that though).
