Thanks for more HF! This one is so much fun. I think the percussion and background is phenomenal in this one. So much is going on. And of course Tim (the bass). That goes without saying. And you mentioned Tim in reference to solo stuff. He actually has a lot of solo work out there. You should check out some of it. It'll blow your mind. "Stay/Will You Still Love Me Tomorrow" is a good starting one for him. He also has a side projects going with Austin. I mean, they all have side projects and/or solo stuff out there, actually. It truly is a deep rabbit hole. Check out "Two Country Boys Try Singing Opera" with Austin and Rob sometime. It, too, will knock your socks off.

@@michaelmayo8117 Yes, Tim Foust is a snarky faced smart ass that gets away with harassing the fans with alacrity. They eat it up and have come to expect it of him. His story times are comedic gold. He says he doesn't understand how he fell into that role because he's the sweetest and most sensitive of all of them. In all truth, Tim does have a huge heart. ALL of them are just down to earth extra good humans. And, yes the big guy Rob Lundquist can be hilarious. It seems his main purpose off stage is messing with and pestering his band mates.
@nancyholter5646 Жыл бұрын
You may be thinking about Josh Turner -deep voiced solo country singer. Tim does have solo work - he has an album of songs he wrote and performed as well as an album of do-wop songs AND a new album of collaborations with Peter Hollens. Austin and Chance also have solo work on their respective channels. HF has 5 supremely talented voices. As well as multiple songwriters and arrangers.

That was me Michael that let you know we don't YeeHaw lol, unless goofin" off. It's fun to hear it in song though and I'm glad you are enjoying country in some fashion. You mentioned Tim doing some solo stuff. Actually they all do, including Adam Rupp. Their experience and talent is incredible and you would be surprised. I'm pushin' 70 and I like and appreciate music of all genre's (I've been around awhile). Home Free, Led Zeppelin, Jethro Tull, Tom MacDonald, Jim Croce, etc. so when I see someone trying out something they are not to fond of I appreciate that too. I like your channel and will keep coming back. Keep on smiling and....... YeeHaw Michael!!

Tim is the bass and he can really rumble. Rob (glasses) is the one you’re referring to. He just has a way about him that’s funny. They can all be silly and goofy. What’s funny here is that Chance is made to be the city slicker is actually the most country of them all being from the sticks of Alabama. Such a fun video. There’s a live video that the boys let us see a couple of songs for free from the Ryman theater last night. The beginning has Texas Hill but towards the end of the video they come on and do Boondocks and Elvira. You can see them live and boy, can Tim rumble in the last song. Whew! You could check that out!

In addition to the Home Free channel, they each have their own channels. In addition, Tim (the bass with long dark hair) & Austin (long red hair) have a side project. They're both song writers (and both play piano) and along with 4 other singer/song writers/musicians have formed the "Sweet & Low Music Co." and pursue it when they're not touring/recording/video taping with Home Free and on their own channels. Tim also does fund raising for veterans charities and Austin often joins him.

The man who just "stares into the camera" I'm guessing is the man with the beard & glasses. He's Rob Lundquist (lead tenor) and he has a fabulous sense of humour!

The bass, the one you said could have a country solo career with his bass voice, does have his own KZbin channel. His name is Tim Foust. Austin Brown, wearing the backwards baseball cap in the video, also has his own channel. They both have copious amounts of content. Chance, who played the city slicker in this video, has his own channel, but with less content.

@michaelmayo8117 Жыл бұрын
Yeah, definitely need to increase the quality. I'm running it off of Logitech c920 through OBS recording. I think I need a idea of what would be considered better and it could be just a color issue.

Ha 😂😂 don't say one of many subs lol. I'm on my like 5th week. Still crazy that I'm over 1100 now though. It's pretty cool not going to lie. I guess I need to mess with the camera now and see how clear I can get it. I will disclaim that it won't be as good as the high dollar cameras people have. OBS is a software that from what I can tell a lot of people use for recording videos.

@@dogtrainerjen You were "when I make it big" well that's a little bit of pressure. I still have a lot to learn in order to do that. What I'm trying to figure out is what videos get suggested more. The accapella groups did well. Started with Tom that started it off, Ren, and then Accapella groups. I've been trying to sprinkle new ones in there, but it has not went well. Harry Mack did okay. I think the analytics of it is more than half the battle tbh.

To me, Tim sounds like the original singers of this song: Blake Shelton and Trace Adkins, especially when they drop into their low registers. As much as I love Tim's voice, I'm not really a fan of his solo stuff. (Just not my type of music for the most part.) I do like when he collaborates with Austin Brown and Peter Hollens. (Especially the cover of Misty Mountains by Peter Hollens ft. Tim Foust.) Peter Hollens is also acapella and he layers his voice *post-production to give a "choir-like" affect. *Please note: I'm not sure post-production is the right word here. I just can't come up with a different one at the moment. 😅
