Home Free is proof that our voices are all the instruments we need! My favorite a cappella band, Home Free is made up of 5 perfect instruments, with all five of them capable of providing a diverse range of talents -- from deep (!) bass to high tenor, from tight harmonies to phenomenol vocal percussion! Their catalog is as versatile as they come -- in spite of being branded as a country group, they can sing any genre that strikes their fancies. Follow them! You won't be disappointed!

You couldn't have picked a better group than Home Free. They are really great. For me the best a cappela group there is. They don't use any instruments.( Except for a few songs where an instrument is played to a limited extent) For each song, they look at which voice suits it best. They all have great voices, each with their own specialties. Adam Rupp (who started the group in 2000 with his brother Chris who left the group for other projects in 2016) can also sing, but he is the glue of the group with his great beatboxing/vocal percussion/vocal sounds. You will be amazed by him. Or actually all five. Tim Foust- Deep bass but also as a tenor and everything in between is possible. Austin Brown-High tenor with his great runs and high notes. Rob Lundquist (beard and glasses)-Tenor, with a voice like velvet and so much soul. Adam Chance - Baritone/ Bass, a voice so smooth and sexy. The best harmony, no egos, no rivalries, great personalities etc. Besides, they can all beatbox (see their live performance 9to5). .. This is one of the many covers they do in addition to various originals, and each one is just amazing. Follow them and you will be shocked at how good they are and what they can do. Bet you'll soon be a Home Fry too? Just like this: This is simply excellent again!! I always loved this Doobie Brothers song, but Home Free did a great cover of it, keeping the respect for the original Sung so well, but for me it's Adam who really makes it so great. He nailed it. The vocal percussion is so unbelievably good. For me the very best beatboxer there is. I am a Home Fry from the Netherlands. I will finally see them September 27th in Utrecht Netherlands which I am very happy about.

Yes, welcome to Home Free, all acapella, no instruments at all. Masters of all musical genres. Organized in a college dorm in Minnesota in 2000; they won the 4th season of the Sing Off in 2013. Two are from Minnesota, one from Georgia, one from Texas and one from Alabama (Current members, Chris left the group in 2016 and was replaced by Chance). Their covers are upgrades, their medleys are brilliant, their collaborations with the original artists are inspirational, and their original songs are masterpieces. Within this 5 man vocal band you have 5 tenors, 5 beat boxers, and 2 bass-baritones. All of them can sing lead and they choose depending on whose voice best fits the song. They can do just about anything and they continue to grow and improve, yet they remain so humble. When they have featured guest artist, they support and allow their featured artists to shine. Several of them have their own channels and do some solo work. And just for fun Rob and Austin sing Opera. What else can I say? Their catalogue of work is quite large and continues to grow. You are in for an exciting journey and the Home Fries will be there for you all the way.

Home Free is the real deal. They are an a cappella group so no instruments. Their beatboxer is amazing. This is a remake of the Doobie Brothers hit. They do covers and have their own music. Try Skull and Bones that Chance (baritone) wrote for the Ubisoft game of the same name. It’s so good. There is guitar and mandolin in it. It’s tremendous!

The Doobie Brothers used a truck load of instruments including 2 drum kits to create a great song. Home Free elevated it into the stratosphere with just their five voices. They are fantastic. I have no use for other groups since I discovered these guys. They satisfy a craving I didn't even know I had. The talent and skills amongst the five of them is insane. Mr. Adam Rupp doesn't just beat box a little, he is world class next level skilled. All the beat boxing and vocal percussion you hear is him. Welcome to the Home Free rabbit hole. Great reaction.

I love Home Free videos. They are done so professionally and the guys seem to really enjoy making them. I'm a Home Fry, Home Free fan and have seen them live. They're just as good live as recorded. So entertaining. I recommend End of the Road (Boyz 2Men), Helplessly Hoping (Crosby, Stills and Nash), and on the lighter side Butt Medley or Country Fried Pop Medley. You can't go wrong with Home Free, currently the very best acapella band out there!

Well, you found the best song of theirs to bop and smile with. Another is Can't Stop the Feeling. One of their fun original songs is Champagne Taste. And if you want a giggle watch The Butt's Remix (but be familiar the the original videos for Sir Mix-a-lot's Baby Got Back and Trace Adkin's Hony Tonk Badonkadonk before you do). Whatever you do, don't listen to the cover of Mayday until you are familiar with their voices (i.e. you can look at a face and hear the singing voice without them singing) or you won't be as impressed as you should be. To hear the individual voices I suggest: this video was Austin Brown (tenor 1), Champagne Taste for Tim Faust (bass), End of the Road for Rob Lundquist (tenor 2), and Some Girls Do for Adam Chance (baritone). A couple of songs that feature solos by each are Auld Lang Syne, One Man Band, and Die a Happy Man. Those seven songs will give you enough to get Mayday, doing much more that those will dull the experience as well. There most choreographed video is Blue Ain't Your Color. And, sort of, Let's Get it On/Thinking Out Loud, simply because it is a one shot video, not for dancing.

They are known as a "Country A Capella" group but they sing all genre's They have no lead singer, it is whomever fits the song best takes lead. In this one you had Austin Brown singing lead. The incredible bass is sung by Tim Foust. The world class beatboxer is Adam Rupp. the guy with the sweet voice and cool beard is Rob Lundquist and the guy in the cap with the smooth baritone bass voice is Adam Chance.... Home Free doesn't do covers, they do upgrades. This one is originally by the Doobie Brothers. And this group had a lot of original videos also. Austin Brown (singing lead here) and Tim Foust (bass singer, short hair with grey in the front) have both done a lot of song writing, especially since the quarantine, and the group has a lot of videos that were done separate from each other, recorded in and around their own homes in 3 different states. Some of those videos are Meet in the Middle, Flowers on the Wall, Quarantine, Sunday Best, Down to the Honkytonk. They recently came out with a beautiful trilogy of songs written by Austin about his lovely lady Amberly (who is in the videos): Give Me a Sign, Stargazer Lilies, and MR. Even if a song is serious this group can be funny; see Brother and Might As Well Be Me. The boys can party with the best of us: see Friends in Low Places, Feelin' It, House Party, Snapback, and Can't Stop the Feeling. And one last recommendation. I'm sure you know John Denver's Thank God I'm a Country Boy. Home Free's video for that song is a real treasure.

Saw your reaction to Don McLean's American Pie. Home Free does a phenomenal version of this, featuring McLean himself, who reached out to the group to perform it with him for the 50th anniversary of the song. Each of the guys sings a verse, so it's a good introduction to what each can do, and Adam Rupp, the incredible beatboxer, carries it throughout. McLean also sounds fantastic. Home Free does a lot of covers, in all genres, but also great original music, like Catch Me If You Can. The Home Free rabbit hole is a gold mine. Highly addictive if you love really good music and the interplay of highly talented individuals with spine-tingling harmonies. Start with Man of Constant Sorrow.

Welcome to the best a cappella group out there. They are known for their tight harmonies, have one of the best bass singers with a 5 octave range & a world class beatboxer vocal percussionist. I grew up on classic rock & am a big fan of the Doobie Brothers & had their albums. "Listen To The Music" was a big hit for them back in 1972. Love that Home Free is keeping this great music alive & introducing it to the younger generation. The guys did a really nice job of this song. Austin was great for the lead & loved the background harmonies of Rob, Chance & Tim's bass. Adam killed it on the vocal percussion again. He always comes up with some new & interesting sounds.

This a cover of the Dobbie Brothers song. Home Free is the only country Acappela group. They started way back in 2000 by Chris Rupp and his brother Adam (the beatboxer). This particular 5 guys have been together since 2016, when Chris Rupp left the group. He now has a solo career along with another group called Cypress Fyre. Back in 2013 they were on the TV show called The Sing Off, and won. They have released so many different songs, country, pop, R&B and tey have a lot of originals. Maybe try Butt's Medley or Ring of Fire, Hunter Hayes Medley and many Christmas songs. They guys names are Austin Brown who had the lead in this song is the sky high tenor. The guy with the beard and glasses is Rob Lundquist lead tenor, Adam Rupp is the beatboxer and only original member left. Adam Chance has a shorter beard and mustache is the baritone. Fabulous version of the iconic Doobie Brothers' classic. Loves that one 50 years ago, love this one now. Best a cappella group out there. Best beatboxer - Adam Rupp. This really showcases him. You just took the acapella equivalent of crack - Home Free is highly addictive. 3 of them are song writers so there are lots of originals as well as up-graded covers. They sing everything from gospel to goofy. There isn't a lead singer - they all (except the beatboxer) sing lead. The beatboxer also has a great singing voice (but is usually to busy to use it!). Fall down the rabbit hole - it's a great trip!
