Kudos to JennaLee for her beautiful artistic interpretation of the song in American Sign Language. My daughters are deafblind and I signed songs to them when they were small and had more vision. The speakers were put facing the floor so they could feel the vibrations. And we danced.

You're totally right, the world needs more smiles. I remember the day that I saw the proof of the saying "A smile lights up a gloomy day". I was in the bus, on my way to my father's house, and my fiance was about to join me after work. I was happy about it, and I tend to smile a lot. Then a stranger came and sat in the 4-seat square I was sitting in, right diagonally across. Since it was dark outside, the window was like a mirror, and I could see him without directly looking at him. I saw he was down about something, he made a face three miles long. But he also looked out of the window, and had to see my face in it. So, I just tried. I smiled and smiled, broadly, and made sure that our eyes met in the reflection every now and then, and saw when he noticed. The ride was about 10 minutes, and after a while, he couldn't help but smirk a little. Then I turned to the inside of the bus again, and he remarked "You seem in an especially good mood today!". I just shrugged my shoulders, happy to have ripped him out of his mood at least for a bit, and answered: "Yes! I'm on my way to my dad, and my significant other will come soon, too! What could be better?", and then he really smiled. Only things you have can bring you happiness, not things you want. Be content with what you have, as long as it's everything necessary to survive, and don't fret if you can't have a bigger house, car or wardrobe. If you only see what you don't have, you'll feel envy and hate for everybody who has, and haughtiness for those who don't have what you have. If you are content with what you have, both of those negative feelings aren't necessary, and you can freely help others without restricting who you are.

My favorite part of the lyrics is the bridge, "I'm fat, I'm thin, I'm short, I'm tall, I'm deaf, I'm blind... Hey , aren't we all?" It is a reminder that everybody has something that they are uncomfortable with about themselves and we should recognize ourselves in others.

Great to see you back reacting to Home Free, and with so many good things to say. One of the reasons I became a die-hard fan of Home Free was the kindness they've showed over the years. If you like acapella and guitar, one day you really should listen to People - a beautiful Jeffrey East original that Home Free collaborated with him on. I believe someone said that the young woman in the video and the studio was dance signing to the original at a performance where Mark Wills saw her, and asked her to perform it with him in future, including at the Opry. Nate, who also appears in the video and the studio is a content creator on TikTok and the CEO of 21 Pineapples, who sell funky shirts partly to support Downs Syndrome causes.

You definitely weren't the only one crying on this one. As a kid I was went through that, constantly bullied, but I think I consider myself one of the lucky ones because I grew from it, learned from it. I've spent my life always trying to be there for others, help them with issues they couldn't get through on their own, being a support for anyone who just needed someone to listen, even a shoulder to cry on because I knew how it felt, so this song and video were extremely emotional for me. Thank you for doing a reaction for it.

I went into the store, bought my beer and then bought a few sandwiches from the deli. I walked out and gave him the sandwiches. In return I got a very smelly but heartfelt hug. He told me he hadn't eaten in days and everybody just walked past him without looking. Don't be the cheap asshole that just walks by and does nothing. At least buy a sandwich.

Many people with special needs who have difficulty speaking for various reasons have done better with sign language. She definitely signed “day” as you recognized, and signed “god’s sight” when they sang “In god’s eyes.” In the bridge when they sang “I’m blind,” she put her palms over her eyes. That not the ASL sign for “blind,” but it could be either an artistic interpretation or the proper sign in another sign language.
