They’re so much fun. They released this on Valentine’s Day for their female fans. They’re so goofy. Another goofy one…Brother…such a good song and funny. Enjoy!

Their humour is one thing that sets them apart from other groups, along with their amazing harmonies. Others are too dramatic/theatrical/serious for my taste (both with the videos and the arrangements). Home Free have their serious videos, too, of course, if the song demands it like Brothers In Arms. But if they don't need to be all serious for the song there is at least a bit silliness in there. The guys are really lucky to work with videographers (they have a few they work regularly with) that knows their personalities and shoot funny videos as often as they do. And they are always happy to go along with the silliness. They have another valentine's day song, I Swear, where they don't take themselves too seriously, either. But in general it doesn't matter to which one you react to, they don't have bad songs. Live videos are rare, at least with good audio. There are many fanrecordings, though. And they have a professional made live video of their Sea Shanty Medley.

Ok, this was a silly, tongue-in-cheek, Valentines Day special video from #HomeFree. Yep, I love the casual, home-y approach these guys take in their videos and concerts. I’ve noticed we seldom see them in matching costumes. Half the time, when they do dress up all the same, it might be a clue they’re having us on. I’m glad you found them and get a kick out of their humour.

That’s certainly one of the words I’ve been trying to think of during these reactions; “home-y!” There is a real sense of that. Again, going back to PTX, their videos always feel expensive and like a huge amount of time, effort and money went into them. And that’s fine, that’s their style and how they like to do it. But there’s just something about the way the Home Free fella’s do their videos that I love. They don’t take themselves too seriously even though they’re seriously talented! I just know that they’re the sort of blokes I would love to have a few pints with and it’d be a cracking time and that I’d have such a good laugh! They’re just great lads! I wonder if they’ll ever end up doing a show in my vicinity, there’s a lovely little village called ‘Haworth’ that has a beautiful pub and also a tearoom! (Yes I know that I’m dreaming beyond reality! 😆) Also as mentioned in the video, the Home Free Fan Club is now open to the public on Patreon! Home Free has tons of videos filmed by fans during their shows. Guilty Pleasures has several versions out since each show can be slightly different -- different venue, different crowd, different responses going both ways. Same for Home Free Drum Solo. There was a schtick that Tim used to do during their shows called Story Time with Tim. He had several stories to entertain us with. My favorites are Natemares (which you may only find on other reactors' channels) and Watch Me (Whip/Nae Nae). But one of their best live bits of all only happened one time when Tim came out to rev up the crowd before his bandmates hit the stage. Some of their most creative videos came during quarantine. They put out a new one almost every two weeks!! They learned to do the filming out of necessity. And they played up the humor when they could. They do have some serious ones, too. Brothers in Arms, How Great Thou Art, Undivided, Go Rest High for just a few. And there are the ones that are neither funny nor serious, just fine music presented well. Off hand, I can't think of a video I don't like - even when I don't particularly like the song. There are quite a few bits and pieces of concerts that fans have filmed over the years - and many of them will give you a feel for the group. Someone put together a film of an entire concert (1 hour and 23 minutes) from the European tour, which will give you great music - but I don't recall if the interaction between the group and the audience between the songs was quite the same as in the US. I prefer the HF approach to the PTX one, partly because PTX seems to take themselves and their music too seriously. I have on occasion laughed at a PTX video because of that.
