As a British Home Free fan, I love this song that Tim wrote - as you say, just feel-good, positive and generous - not putting anyone else down, just loving their country. They have a new album coming out towards the end of June, and this is the title track, but they are all songs about America, and about bringing people together.

They have lots of originals, they just never get the recognition that their covers garnish. Dive Bar Saints album is almost all originals with a few covers thrown in. It so good. The album I had been waiting for. Maybe you can start covering and get others to follow! Tin's hair is natural now so gray is real. :)

Tbh, with everything over the last year or so, I just thought it was refreshing and way cool that they showed our flag as a "symbol" as they referenced freedom and being grateful to those who paid for it. In this time and day, unfortunately, not too many artists or "celebrities " have the integrity to do the same. They just seem so genuine and appreciative of the success they've had and of their fans. You can tell they just really love what they do. I'm glad you're continuing to react to Home Free...love your reactions.❤

They were invited to appear on the Grand Ol Opry about a month ago - their 1st live appearance in 14 months. Tim & Austin live in Nashville. Rob & Adam flew in from Minneapolis & Chance flew in from L.A. While they were together, they made this video as well as the Travelin' Soldier video. So great to see them all together again. And they always seem to have a blast when they're together. BTW, if you like patriotic songs, check out their cover of "God Bless the USA" that they shot last year around the 4th of July. It features Lee Greenwood as well as the USAF's Singing Sergeants. (FYI, they have 2 covers of "God Bless the USA". Both are great but the newer one done last year is the better - partly because it has Lee Greenwood!)

Thank you for the reaction to this new song. Tim did write this song with his friend Chris Chatham. Tim cut his hair somewhere around the beginning of the pandemic. He said he could wear the mask and not be recognized. While they were filming this song Austin, Chance and Tim talked about his gray hair. Chance called it aged blonde and Tim called it smokey blonde. They liked that. Anyway happy you did this song, just makes you want to smile.

Tim wrote this and has sung it solo. The way they fill the soundscape is just magical. With two of their last four songs they featured songs from and with other artists. Honestly, I wasn't expecting them to cut this in reality --- yet, back when listening to Tim's solo from his album .... wondered what it would be like if HF performed it. Damn it's good! I could listen to each the same --- but Tim's solo edges it out just a wee bit; probably because I heard Tim's 1st and that kinda makes it special. Patriotic, you bet!!! That being said -- I've Seen, by Tim also ... Is damn good, even with a few LIVE versions on his radio tour even ... but the HF version from their site is absolutely fantastic! Outside of the National Anthem -- the 1st song that comes to mind on the Patriotic scale - always - Lee Greenwood's "God Bless the USA" ... and then their is the collab of Mr. Greenwood and HF, along with the Singing Sergeants - which is absolutely mind blowing! :)

Maintaining long hair when it's as straight as Tim's is, is freaking hard. My hubby had long straight hair for many years. He cut it for a role in a theater production and discovered it was so much easier to manage. He's just never gone back. I loved his long hair, but I'm not dictating he has to put up with all that work to maintain it. From Tim's comments in the premiere chat to Travelin' Soldier, it sounds like he's not really interested in investing the time to maintain long hair, either. I think he's dead sexy either way, so if he's happy with it, that's all that matters.
