Great reaction. They recorded for so many seconds and then walked like 40 steps forward for a little over 2 miles if I recall the BTS video correctly. It was a road in upstate New York somewhere. Took them several hours. Jimmy did amazing putting all that together.

Enjoyed your reaction, guys. For 'Road Sweet Road,' there is behind-the-scenes on their Patreon. They determined lateral positions by each guy sticking out their elbows. Elbows just touching...good to go. Guys did great job on replicating foot positions. The videographer moved them forward/back a fixed distance each time. Yes, lots of repetition (think someone mentioned it took entire day to film...maybe in NY??). They had a spotter who warned of oncoming traffic. Really noteworthy is how they choreo'd or sync'd up their movements with each transition, especially Adam given all his arm activity. Their 'Seven Bridges Road' is a variation on this concept but with more dramatic location changes.

Richard Sterban is the bass for the Oak Ridge Boys and was a backup singer for Elvis before joining the ORB's. His bass is so rich, it just resonates so beautifully. You hear it in their collab for Elvira also. The way that Home Free lets their guests shine, no matter if the guests are up and comers or established stars, always makes me happy. They leave their egos at the door and let their magical chemistry happen! The music and the message always comes first. Great reaction as always!

Enjoyed the Bonus !! And yes that 1st one was a reminder of my childhood growing up going to Flagler Street Baptist Church here in Miami, FL back in the 60's and seeing the Florida Boys, Blackwood Brothers, Rge Goodman's etc give Sunday afternoon concerts at the church and also of course watching the TV show "Jubilee" before going to church....brings back memories...sang that one every year at least once after Thanksgiving week, and then on Candlelight Service on Christmas Eve night. Then Road Sweet Eoad...just another banger original; off the new album, So Long Dixie

Jeffrey East is good buds with Tim , love this version of Beautiful Star of Bethlehem, Road Sweet Road is a Tim original. FYI not green screen. Sammi Chance's wife had to tell them when to get out of the Road when cars were coming. Merry Christmas guys!!!!

Jeffery East has actually gave the song Why Not and People. He also was on tour with them. The bass singer for The Oak Ridge Boys is Richard Sterban and Tim always wanted to be him. This was filmed for their Live Stream Holiday Special 2 years ago. The song is actually a Oak Ridge Boys song from 2011. The Road Sweet Road video took a very long time to shoot. Because they were walking down an actual road. I liked that they showed Adam Rupp with the Minnesota outline, Austin with Georgia, Tim with Texas and Chance with Alabama. Truly enjoyed watching your reactions to these songs.

So good. Richard Sterban is the bass for the Oaks. Love this version. It was during Covid so no live audience which is a shame. Then Tim wrote Road Sweet Road (with others). There was no green screen. It was on a road in NY state and the boys had to move every 5 seconds or so? Sami (Chance’s wife) told them when to get out of the road. Loved the video. Good reaction boys. Have a wonderful holiday!

It’s obviously green screen but it’s also real. I’ve lived in half the states in my 50 plus years. They made us all feel together because all our states have this one beautiful road. We remember that one block of that one road. The place means something to every single one of us.

I always get a kick out your "bro-banter"... loved that you made it right for Chad (?) and that there were two Home Free songs. Also, massive KUDOS to the Ruppster and his amazing human drumkit.

The Beautiful Star was from their Warmest Winter special that they did at the end of the lockdowns. There was an audience for some of the tapings, but never more than about a dozen per day (two days of filming). Christmas in Dixie (with Alabama) was from the same special. Also, the ORB's bass is the gentleman in the blue jacket.

A song that will make you sing along. It's that I don't have a driver's license, otherwise I would play it in my car with the volume on high! This is one of the many songs on their new album that is almost entirely original. I highly recommend you also check out save the world which is more of an Austin song and so long Dixie which is more of a Tim song. The boys can write as well as sing. And then on the subject of Tim and singing do yourself a favor pay the $19 and get Tim's album pieces of me volume one. I am a rock and metal guy and the last thing I would listen to on my own is doo-wop but damn. I listen to this constantly. The whole album is doo-wop songs from the 50s and everything you hear on the album is tim. And it's not just bass and falsetto. It's everything in between and he sounds amazing on every one of them. I would love to be able to just have one of the voices he has. It will blow your mind. I think the songs in my room, Will You still Love me Tomorrow, since I don't have you, and come and go with me are all on youtube. But some of the best stuff doesn't have videos yet. Trust me you guys will be in awe

Hey listen to Jeffrey East, so you don’t have to ask who he is! He is a great songwriter with a beautiful voice. He has written some and co-written many of HF’s originals. He also is a member of Tim’s and Austin’s sidekick band Sweet & Low Co. My favourite videos from Jeffrey are Because of Yours, Brightest Stars and Love Again. If you want more upbeat, try Still Crazy or Roller Rink. Jeffrey just released an album called Dreamer. Just to tell how good Jeffrey is: he was the opening act for HF in Europe 2018. And I hate these openers as they are no good or their music/style is not for me. I hated the idea of HF having an opening act. But alas, after seeing Jeffrey a few times I just had to lend my ear to him and surprisingly became a fan! He is also a very sweet guy and loves puns and dad jokes😂

Okay guys, binge watching your HF playlist and have a question...Did either of you notice Adam check his phone in the video? I don't know how many times I watched this video and then one day it was like WTH? Did I really see that. It's between the Las Vegas emblem and when they turn around. You see him check his phone and put it back in his pocket. I actually got an answer during a premiere chat from Jimmy I think. He said they were using Adam's phone for playback and he checked to see if they had missed something.
