Austin's song "If I Met You Now" is incredibly beautiful. He accompanies himself on piano in that video. In the melancholy vein, his cover of Brooks & Dunn's' "Neon Moon" is my favorite. Both are on his channel.

It’s a really beautiful song- a lot of meaning behind those words. Austin wrote this with his girlfriend/now wife in mind, describing the feeling of drifting through life, and then meeting that perfect-for-you person that brings new meaning and joy to life.

All of Home Free was singing, it's just that Austin was the only one in the video. The video folks had two different ideas, one of which would have all the guys, but they'd have had to stay in Nashville an extra day after a long tour to film it. Given the choice between filming or going home to their wives and kids, they picked home. Can't say I blame them.

Austin is an excellent songwriter - whether alone or in collaboration with others, and now that he is out of HF, he will be releasing even more of his original work. Austin and Tim wrote 12 of the 14 songs on their So Long Dixie album, and have each had originals on most of their albums since 2013. The Stargazer Trilogy is also Austin's wordsmithing - Give me a Sign, Stargazer Lilies, and MR. So Long Dixie was written by Austin, Tim and a couple other HF friends. Most of HF's offerings are happy, joyous, hilarious, etc., but they do have some more somber ones. You might want to watch I Can't Outrun You - which, like this was basically an Austin solo, is basically a Chance solo - also see Cover Me Up. Colder Weather - especially the newest version - is not quite a Rob solo, but he does have the major part of the lead in it - or maybe Dreamer. We All Want what we Ain't Got is a Tim 'solo' cover that fits the same style - and the video is one you may have to watch more than once to see the story-telling in the visuals. They just released the newest version of I've Seen - a Tim original and 'solo', also more ballad-y. So much HF to choose from, but that is a short list of ones you might enjoy.

And Austin (the singer) wrote it. It’s one of my favorites too. HF is backing him up. There’s only piano in it with Adam doing drums. So good and I love the lyrics. Austin and Tim write most of the songs for the group. Chance wrote a banger of a sea shanty called Skull and Bones. Ubisoft came calling and he responded to the call for a new shanty. You might like that one too and the video is great!!! I also love Helplessly Hoping, Brothers in Arms, Giving Up on You, Give Me a Sign, I Can’t Outrun You. All of those are great! Good one TYMR!

Austin co-wrote this one. I'm not sure if he represents the man's inner voice or a spirit. The video rather gives me vibes of the movie "The Sixth Sense" in that Austin appears & disappears, doesn't interact with anyone & no-one seems to be aware of him. Other Home Free songs I think are the type you're looking for include "Brothers in Arms", "Travelin Soldier", "Helplessly Hoping", "I Can't Outrun You", "Love Me Like That" and - Austin Brown's channel "This Empty House".

I like your perspective on this song. Whatever it symbolises though, the bottom line is that it is honestly one of the most deeply moving, stirring, heartfelt but yet heartbreaking songs I’ve ever listened to. Out of the must be nearly a dozen Home Free songs I’ve reacted to by now, “Save The World” is the one that I have actually found myself playing regularly in my spare times of listening to music. It definitely feels the most personal to me too. Austin absolutely smashed it with this one! ❤️👏🏻
