Good video. It helped me decide flooring for a 16x24 space that will be a multipurpose room with our workout stuff in it. The blemish stuff combined with your discount code made going with freedom a simple choice. After delivery it was still cheaper than going with Menards 11% rebate

Do you know if eva foam is ok for bedrooms instead of home gyms? Does it need to go on underlay or can it go directly on timber floorboards?

Hi - You sold me on the 3/8” thick Hammer Clad rubber 2’x2’ tiles, but when I go to the Freedom Fitness website, all the tiles for sale say (Blem), which I assume means blemished. I don’t want blemished ones. Do they not sell non blemished one???
@DesignBuildLift2 ай бұрын
UPDATE: i just spoke with the owner. The website has been updated as of today. Check it out. - Yes they sell unblemished ones. You will love them. 🙏🤘💪 freedomfitnessequipment.com/DBL

How do you clean the tiles?
@DesignBuildLift4 күн бұрын
Usually just a regular vacuum cleaner. A steam mop if you have any kind of sticky/grimy messes (e.g spilled energy drink)

What made you go with 3/8 instead of 1/2 or larger?
@DesignBuildLift3 ай бұрын
The cost - not only cost per unit, but also the higher shipping cost. Also - I have a deadlift platform- so I thought that 1/2” would just be overkill. 3/8” is perfect for me.🤘🙏💪

Do we have to take out the baseboard first? I don't want to do that. My gym area already hast the baseboard installed.
@DesignBuildLift5 ай бұрын
You do not have to as long as your baseboards are set high enough to allow you to slide the tiles underneath (and too high so that they create a large gap which will become lint magnets). Be sure to still leave a 0.25”gap between the edge of the tile and the wall (under your baseboard) to allow for natural expansion /contraction. 🙏🤘💪
@CCharlie-vb5mn5 ай бұрын
@@DesignBuildLift That’s the thing. My baseboard is already installed with hardwood floor. I just want to put the mats over the floor. Now what? 🤔
@DesignBuildLift5 ай бұрын
I am not sure about that. My 2 cents: I think you might want to go with at least 3/4” thick rubber flooring to protect your hardwood floors. Leave your baseboards in place.

Awesome! Glad you love the product from @freedomfitnessequipment. Me too! I don’t have any flags, but I do have a pennant here: bit.ly/4cZx3gE (Promo Code DBL10 to save 10% if interested). Side note: I am actually working on a logo redesign (some slight tweaks) and will hopefully have new banners soon. Thanks again for letting me know you love your flooring! 🤘🙏💪

@DesignBuildLift I wanted the 1/2 rolled material. I assume the size has something to do with it
@DesignBuildLift2 ай бұрын
@@Hermit_of_the_Holler Do you mean 1/2" Blemished 4x6 Mats? They are $50 each. I don't see 1/2" rolled rubber on the website (but I know that if you click on CUSTOM QUOTE - he can still get it for you). Did you estimate the freight for only 1 4x6 mat? If so - bump up that QTY to your actual order QTY. I am assuming the unexpectedly high freight cost of $160 is due to the Freight Company's minimums. Once you enter the full Order QTY to get the accurate estimate. I am guessing it doesn't jump up that much. Please let me know. Also - if the Freight costs too much - you can always dial it down to 3/8" thick or 8mm thick....the lighter the freight the cheaper the freight costs will be. I hope this helps. -- ALSO don't forget to use my promo code: DBL to save another 5%. freedomfitnessequipment.com/DBL
