Hi Liz I have never had the crying issue with Bermuda onions or red onions like what you were using but I do have with a white onion so I will use that hack the next time I need to cut up a white onion. Also I was taught to store apples in the refrigerator, It keeps them crispier and it keeps them fresher longer. And then lastly I store all of my marker pens with the ink side down so that the felt tip on them stays moist. Love your hacks!

I use a recycled bread bag to keep veg scraps (including leftover herbs) and chicken bones in. I keep it in the freezer. I pull it out and dump it into my crockpot, fill it with water, add some peppercorns and a bay leaf and let it go on low for about 6h. Voila, broth!

Apples produce a gas that ripens bananas quickly! Always store them separately!🍌🍎

Bananas also give off that same gas so there’s no need to keep them separate. I often use bananas to ripen other fruit.

I keep my onions in the fridge and they never make me cry besides the red onions are rarely the ones to make you cry

HACK: Don't store onions & potatoes in the same space. Potatoes will rot.
