I really appreciate your approach to sharing the struggle in getting things working. I started following along on my own Ubuntu 20.04 machine but then realized you were showing ways to install that didn't work. I'm so glad you included that script in your github. Now I'm going to try backing up my Windows console and restore it to the Ubuntu box. I'm also more familiar with Red Hat - this was very helpful. Liked and subscribed !!

Thanks for subscribing! I have a few things in queue that I want to set up in my home lab, so there will be similar content to come. When I can, I try to have anything related to scripting that I do uploaded to GitLab.

I've just had to reinstall my Unifi VM running 20.04 as an update broke networking on it, and thought "why not go for 20.10 instead" - then realised Mongo DB had been removed from the official repos. Your guide saved me another reinstall - thank you!

Glad it was helpful. If I deploy something new, I always try to deploy as close to current as possible.

Hey! Really liked your video! Easy to follow and worked just as promised. You should make a video on how to set up SSL certificate for the Unifi controller on a raspberry pi. Hosted on the raspberry pi via Apache2 or something? You would do a great job and people would definitely check it out. Me included. Me and many others are looking for that answer. Best regards

Thanks for your kind words! Sorry it's taken me this long to respond. That's a neat idea about trying to run it on a raspberry pi. If I ever get around to buying a pi, I'll keep it in mind!
