Do you have any calculator which can give input if we increase EMI % every year ?

Can you help to clarify at what time of a month it is better to prepay the amount? I was told that some simple interest is calculated, so better to pay the amount on 1st of every month rather than end of month

It depends on your emi date.. from the emi date, number of days is computed and accordingly the simple interest is calculated on those days For example, if emi date is 15th and you make prepayment on 20th than 5 days simple interest will be calculated

@@fincalc Thank you for taking time out to reply. But my loan manager said that irrespective of EMI date, the adjustment of prepayment against principle loan amount is always done from 1st of the month. Could you help confirm just once if this is true?

@@ashishpolinati4892 it depends on bank how they follow.. ideally they should be counting number of days from EMI date, but if the manager is saying they count from start of month, than better to make prepayment during start of the month..

Yes, It's true. I have recently done the pre-payment and bank charged me simple interest on amount. Simple interest rate is calculated from 1st day of the month and the day when we actually paid the amount.

Could you please tell me if doing prepayment in the 11th month of first year of home loan is beneficial or could it be done any time during the 1st year for better tenure reduction?

prepayment can be done anytime, sooner the better

bank does not raise interest rate when you pay extra amount. Rate is linked to repo rate and accordingly changes

Iska regular emi payment karne ke bajaye iss તરીકે se jyada bhar sakte hai kyu ki prepayment sidha mul dhan se katatata hai agar me 25,000 ke bajaye 15000 ki emi rakhu or baki ka 10,000 bachake 12 mahine me sidha prepayment karu pira ka pura to mul dhan jaldi kam hoga ispe ray de apki home loan pe.....
