Thanks! Great idea, simple but very practical. It took one sheet of 4X8X3/4 (my choice - 1/2" will do but you will need to adjust the measurements accordingly) cut to 62" long. The remainder I cut into 5 pieces at 6"X48" to use as sides, end piece and bottom support (this was the 4"X48" piece left over and one of the 6"X48" pieces). I placed the wheels 5 3/4"X5 3/4" on the corners and the wheels for the cup holders on the tailgate are up to you (determined by how far you want the bed slider to come out and the tipping point) but they need to be 9" apart and centered 20 1/4" from each side. I'm not an expert but this is what worked for me. Hope it helps.

Hey there Gerardo, I've had mine now for over a year and a half and still going strong.... I've put so far over 300lbs spread out on the bedslide and it held and slide easily... most of the weight was on the back of the slide though.

Nice!!! I've been looking around the web for inexpensive bed slides for my truck, and this gives me a pretty good idea on how to build a bed slide and probably improve it a little for a heavier load.

Not bad, gives me some ideas. Your idea of the spray-on bed liner is really good, I think that is the way to go and you can always throw a removable piece of carpet on top of that too. I presume you leave the OEM rubber bed liner in and just let the casters roll over it?

Yes, the rubber bed liner is left in place.
