Questions 1) the relatively thin material will it hold over time compared to a solid cast iron vise? 2) how will all the gears and complicated components in the jack do wit prolonged use? 3) what's the grip force on the vise? This vise is innovative and a cool concept, but I'd rather stick with even a Harbor Freight type, even if it's small and/or cost more money.
