My sensory-seeking toddler needs her play-doh out ALL the time. if I try to put it up she freaks out and I can't keep it around lately bc it dries out instantly! I've looked at a few homemade recipes, but you're the only person I have seen show and tell about it being long lasting! Super excited to make it! Edit (update): My 2yo woke up earlier than usual this morning, so I made the play dough! My child has been OBSESSED with it all day, like way more than the store-bought (and my older 9yo also requested some) and it's been out of any container literally all day bc she won't let me put it up, so around 8 hours now, and it's still 100% soft and good! I am amazing and thrilled! TYSM!

My grandmother made us homemade play dough when we were kids. 😊I did put it in my mouth and spit it out 🤣Funny you mentioned that. Good, fond memories that I’m thankful for with my brothers and cousins. Thank you. I’ve also made some. Another good idea with kids is the salt dough ornaments recipe. My kids and I made Christmas ornaments and I so enjoyed that with them and my mom and even with my ex- husband. 🌲

I made playdoughs using your recipe twice already and both turned out silky smooth and nice to hold. I like that it comes off easily with water when it gets stuck on my toddler's clothes. Also it doesn't harden when left exposed to air unlike the no cook recipes with no tartar. Thought of adding essential oil to the dough to make it smell nice. Thanks for sharing your recipe!

The best recipe ever!!! Beats expensive store bought playdough anyday!! Hands down best I've tried ( I've tried quite a few) here in India. I substituted 1tsp of water with lemon juice instead of Cream of tartar. Works like magic. I cannot thank you enough. If I ever got to meet you - massive hugs. My 2.10 year old son goes nuts for this. It's lying out for almost 5 hours and still as good as new if sealed in a container after. Thank you!!!! Game changing activity for our home. Bless you❤ Love from India, Banglore.
