Home Made Valve Amplifier Presentation and Operation

welcome to my tutorial of a home made Valve/Tube amplifier.
this is made from scratch with care and love for this old school tech.
A little wooden box able to make almost more than today's amplifiers.
it has both internal and external speaker operation. pre amplifier output and changeable tubes for different sound.
A million thanks to Man Cave NO.1 for fixing tubes and transformers and some other parts for this build along with the support to carry out this project. I am ever so grateful :)

Wow nice modification with the 6P1P! (or EL90!) Nice mods with the volume and channel mix as well. That's what I love about the Fender Champ design...it's a super core amp plan that's great to modify and experiment with. Really turned out nice. Totally impressed. Thanks for putting it all together and making it work! It's a clean, neat, and tight setup you've built, especially for your first tube build! Amazed that it could drive that larger speaker so well, and work so nicely with the pre-amp output on the Radiola. Amazingly flexible build. Looks tight, neat, and clean. Congrats!

Wouldn't it get even better sound if you cut a hole somewhere in the box? That's the only thing I'd do different. It's an amazing and super versatile build in any case. Cheers.

Thank you very much man :) I am really happy with it, I have made a minor mod on the power supply today and added one extra 10uf cap and a 10 ohm resistor to even out the current and reduce a bit more hum from the circuit. thanks for making this amp possible, I look forward to build more of these as soon as i get more parts to do so :)

the internal speaker plays rather good in closed box and I don't think it would do much difference to port the box. however did i design this thing to play external speakers and I have sold off some stuff and just now bought a pair of Klipsch Reference Premiere RP-150M speakers that I will hook up to the amp instead and I think they are going to play really nice with this amp :)
