Good machine. In response to your request for comments: When winding, continuously moving the wire guide back and forth across the full width of the rotating bobbin so that the wound wire has a very-roughly 25 degree angle with respect to the incoming wire (roughly 65 degrees with respect to the axle) will help to reduce the incidence of inter-coil tangles and sideways shifting of the coils. That is the practice in the textile industry.

Yes, yes indeed it has and the trailer gives room for wire and post being taken out

Do you know about what rpm the shaft rotates at?

Something like 200-300 rpm I believe
